3pm KO for this one. One of just 4 games not to be shown on TV?
A win is all but certain. It surely just a matter of how many goals we want to score and/or how many players we want to rest and give minutes to Academy boys
5-1

i quoted 5 -0 by half time and 5-1 final score but that was a pisstake in line with our second half drop off. if he plays the reserves and kids there is no reason they'll be tired so i expect good performances in both halves and 6 or 7 to be banged in. i expect them to park the bus and be aggressive from the kick off. neville and Scholes etc to be in the dressing room to gee them up

I'll wait to see the side he picks, if he had his way he's be scouring the pubs for people to put a shirt on so he can save his players from playing too many games.

It's a strong team considering nearly all first 11 is rested. I expect another thrashing of the underdog
All I'd say though, is if he keeps his principles and plays Trafford against the Arsenal corners in the league cup final, we're in trouble

john fucking stones?? fucking joke he goes on holiday for months and then walks back into the side as captain (when internationals are coming up, of course). he has been dogshit this season even on the rare occasions he’s been healthy. Fuck off.

When fully fit he's one of the best in the world in his position with unique skill set with that.
Why wouldn't we use this game to give him minutes? No brainer

He WAS best in the world in his position. That was 2 years ago - a fully fit Stones now doesn't even make the top 5 best defenders - hence he'll be going at the end of the season.

Last time he was fit, he was still class. Agree no brainer that he plays today

Haha, fuck me, he gets level with me I'm no colours says i fucking doubt that kid. He will be getting pelters from me til tomorrow

Never underestimate the stupidity of some tarquins, they have form. It'll be tears at the end of season for them again.
