Back to Etihad South for a record extending 8th consecutive semi final appearance in the FA Cup. Will we make it a record breaking 4th consecutive final?

Have a brilliant day/weekend out to all those Blues making the trip and cheer on the lads in the usual brilliant manner.

No Rodri today. Surely Nico G has to play, though he hasn’t had much game time lately. Southampton are unbeaten in the last 20 games with victories over Fulham Arsenal and Coventry, there are clearly no mugs and we underestimate them at our peril. I don’t think we can make wholesale changes. But Southampton may well have an eye on their promotion 6 pointer v Ipswich on Tuesday, so they may rest a few as promotion is surely more important to them than the FA Cup?

One thing is for sure though, we won’t let the occasion get the better of us. We are used to Wembley having appeared there a record number of times.

I think we qualify, though it may be tighter than we’d like

2-1 Cherki Foden

Sat on the rattler at Piccadilly. There's a foreign scouse fan dressed head to toe in red scouse sat in front of me. Just told him he will not enjoy this journey

Just about to get a shower and then nip to the pub at the hotel, try and get the women's game on and have a few beers before the train to Wembers

Direct trains from Southampton are part bus replacement, so the rail route is sending them to change at Fratton, then up to London. Someone has a sense of humour.

Nice warm day and a big pitch. Quick efficient passing should help to tire them out sooner than us.
One off game so should be a good open game. Looking forward to this one

Fucking ridiculous team, disrespectful to our fans, the competition & reputation, yeah let’s play the most non match fit players available. Genius strikes again. Hope I am wrong though

I was afraid of this. But I'll hold fire a little bit as the last time we had similar feelings I think we won handsomely. Can't remember which game though. Newcastle?

Could be worse. Nico g and marmoush will be raring to go. Cherki will be doing his best Maradona impression. Kovicic will be steady. Stones will be the out ball and calm unless he gets injured in the warmup. Trafford should be a safe pair of hands. It's going to be harder than I thought with all the changes but 3-1 win.

Absolutely dog shit team but it is what it is. Can't really complain. Personally wouldn't have made that many changes and started strong and then changed it, but I get it.

Come on City
