Real Madrid presidential wars / Haaland

I see Perez has opposition to his presidency for the first time 20 years. Some new money billionaire called Enrique Riquelme has gone on national TV as part of his campaign and told everyone that he is signing Hall and and it's all agreed. Held up a Haaland 9 shirt, and stated he will be signing Rodri too.

City have said it's bollocks and seeking legal action as he was on national TV with a Haaland shirt that he does not have the image rights to use.

Alfie Haaland has said it's a load of bollocks too. It's a publicity stunt to get him elected.

Riquelme also doubled down by saying if he gets elected and does not sign these players, he will refund every fans membership for the season (circa £10m).

Seems to me to be a right knob, £10m is nothing to a billionaire, especially if it gets him control of Madrid.

I hope he gets in, I think they will implode if he gets in.

Barcelona in the news too for owing Leeds and us money as well as many others, this Madrid fool carrying on what Madrid do tapping up other clubs players they have done it for years.

In an ideal world Haaland would go public and tell them he wouldn't join their tin pot circus but let's be honest he is going to end up there at some point, even Rodri will go there even after that not turning up at the awards fiasco.

Players aren't as loyal any more it's all about the kerching and the bling.

Great article on BBC site, Athletico taking the piss out of Barca offering Bad Bunny tickets and sun flower seeds for Yamal in response to Barca trying to poach Alvarez

I reckon Rodri will be there next season regardless
Haaland however, dream on, he’s got 9 years remaining as opposed to 1 for a start

Rodri hopefully will go after the World Cup and for decent money too. He no longer has the legs for the rigours of PL football

I don't know, there were a few games last season where he started to look like the old Rodri again. I was uld.rather keep him for another 3 years, he is quality and it's not about pace, so the age card isn't as bad for him.

Funny one this. No-one better in his role in the lead up to him winning the balon. Since his injury we've seen rare glimpses of his former self. More often he's looked well off the pace. I get he's never been about pace but he's not shown enough to convince me that he will ever get back to his former heights. Part of me thinks he had an eye on the WC, but I'm now thinking if we can get decent wedge for him, I'd do the deal.

We’ve had his best years. No way is he gonna be like what he was. And with one year left it’s the only business decision that makes sense.

We kept KDB on for a year or two too long. Letting people go at the right time and price is possibly as difficult as recruitment in the first instance

Haaland will end up there. I’ve thought it since he arrived
The 9 years left on his deal with us is there to ensure we are comfortable with it whenever it happens. Rodri makes sense to me after the WC

Some are assuming Rodri would want to go to RM.

He grew up with Athleti, one might think he would go back there after City, or even Villarreal, where he was before coming to City rather than the corruptables

Rodri: “The fact that I played for Atlético Madrid does not stop me from playing for Real Madrid. You cannot refuse the best clubs in the world”

Rodri is 30 soon, and one more season left in his contract.
Very likely his best years are behind him. He doesn't want to sign an extension, if we get a decent offer he can toddle off. Or else we get zero in 12 months.

I think he will leave this summer, we will accept 20 or 30mill for him.

Is the only decision that is suitable

Rodri can absolutely fuck off if he's flirting with Madrid after the Balon d'Or shit. Wanker

We got the best out of rodri, a huge buy seeing he was back up to not getting jorghino that time.
Unfortunately he hasnt been the same since the injury and never will, way off the pace. Cash in now

His performance vs fucking Bodø/Glimt of all teams should be enough for everyone to say that he is done

The mad bastard is now saying he will get Klopp as manager. He should get sectioned, he is the modern day Michael Knighton.
