Thought we should have seen some change in Balo's behaviour by now after another 6months+ under Mancini.. but does not look all that much better:-( Still saw glimpses of great linkup with Dzeko/Silva.

I dont think we will ever see the return on the amount we paid for Balo, the same as many of the players we have spunked so much cash on over the last 2 years.
It really shows in games like this how we miss player like NDJ and Kompany, players that give their all for every 50/50 and then some.

I hate to say this as he is my favorite but Yaya needs get it together. For the last few games he has played he has been playing at 40% at best. His one run in that half showed what we are missing from midfield. He needs to get conditioned and play his bloody part.

Trouble with Yaya is that he isn't a great midfield playmaker who will control the game for you. He seems much better when given a more free attacking role but if left ,as he is with Vieira ,to make the play he is very limited.He can keep possession reasonably well but rarely ever seems to have the key passes in his game until he gets further forward.
