Training Friday 11/1

Not much sign of action today when I arrived until I saw Rodwell was out working 1 on 1 with Ivan.A good positive sign to start with. The surprise of the day was seeing the sprinklers in action!!16 players in action today plus 5 keepers. No Guidetti or Nasri from yesterday.
There was a very brief briefing today followed by jogs and warm up/stretching exercises before they all came together around the centre circle for a full keep ball circle with 3 in the middle. The ball was fairly fizzing around and they were all in very good spirits. Then the hole (more of a slit:))in the curtain I was peering through disappeared as security moved in to close it.They moved on then to where the paparazzi were taking pictures before wandering back past.
I could still see where I was through the curtain but went around to see how their viewing had been curtailed...but it hadn't at all.So, confused MCFC supporter just watched alongside them! The training then switched to another pitch for Mancini to do some of the usual pre match preparation working on all aspects of defensive work plus some attacking plays. One funny moment (well it was to me) was when free kicks were being practiced from angles and Mancini was a one man wall.Inevitably it hit him but he didn't flinch at all and just waited for the next try. Shame Samir wasn't there.
Likely Sunday players were going in now so I called it a day to watch the end of the cricket even though it looked like a 5 a side game maybe about to start.
