I tell you what if we dont win this we dont deserve the bloody title. The Everton fans dont want to win and the atmosphere is getting through to their players. We cannot relax and need a third. Its there for the taking.

I fully expect Alcaraz to come off at half, prob for Deulufeou, so Everton go back to 4-4-2

Done most things right apart from a pathetic piece of play by Zabba turning what should of been a great chance for City into an Everton attack, from which they scored.

Plus if I'd been playing cf instead of Dzeko, I'd have had two tap ins, before missing the brilliant header.

Can't see two being enough though. Need at least one, maybe two more but we can get that comfortably if we play sensibly.

Martin Tyler is fucking pathetic. I've never heard such biased shite from a commentator. His voice of doom when Dzeko scored (same as Silva at Anfield) followed by whinging over & over & over that Everton fans aren't excited by cheering on their team to help Liverpool win the league.

WHY THE FUCK SHOULD THEY BE !!??

They have cheered a bit & sung a bit, shouted at the ref a bit but they have to be up for it & fucking like it as well ?

I'm not sure I can take another two and a half games of this. Next season, can we please win it in February.

Sod that let's win it by Christmas - and I don't mean in the way Arsenal did this season.

This Barkley kid is tearing us apart ( Garcia for most part and Nasri few time )
You can't be a real country unless you have a beer and an airline. It helps if you have some kind of a football team, or some nuclear weapons, but at the very least you need a beer.

Isn't he just. All the scouse one lickers really don't understand how much the dippers are disliked, and it must be worse sharing a city with them than it is with the scum.
In fairness, wonder goals aside we haven't given Everton a sniff.

It's not over by a long shot. I hope we come out and sensibly push for the third. 1-2 is a very dangerous score in this situation.

not IS, WAS. he WAS when he could pop up in space and create when we were in 4-4-2. now, in a 4-5-1 he's been much more anonymous.

good first half from our side though. despite Everton having 53% possession and Barkley's wondergoal, they havent done much.

There is a long way to go yet of course - but should Manchester City win the title this season they will wonder just how much easier it would have been had they had their key players available more often.

The quartet of Vincent Kompany, Yaya Toure, David Silva and Sergio Aguero have only started eight games together all season. Of those, City won seven and drew one.

With Aguero limping off injured again this afternoon that record looks unlikely to be improved.
