You can't be a real country unless you have a beer and an airline. It helps if you have some kind of a football team, or some nuclear weapons, but at the very least you need a beer.

On the pitch tonight we have

Hart - 1.5m. De Gea - 19m
Kompany - 6.9m. Ferdinand - 27m
Y. Toure - 24m. Felliani - 27m
Silva - 25m. Mata - 37m
Dzeko - 27m. Rooney - 27m

And they say we've bought our trophies...at least we've bought value for money lol

If we were playing with a full midfield we would still be in full control but we're carrying Yaya so far, and we're putting too much pressure on ourselves because of it. I hope Pellegrini bollocks his large arse at halftime.

Garcia for navas and let yaya stroll about in the attacking third?

Ended up too close for comfort - if their breaks start to come they're going to score and we're looking shocking defensively, saved by some last minute stuff - Zabba looking knackered already, maybe still feeling the Welbeck assault!

Passing seems to have gone astray - some of it a little too casual - we're only 1 up not 6 lads!

We are making a right fucking mess of this.

We are so much better than these cunts & have frittered away so many excellent opportunities. This result is right in the balance. Only sheer incompetence by them has kept them from getting the equaliser when we have handed them the ball. Dzeko is actually one of the lest culpable in that. Keep the fucking ball, for fucks sake.

The referee is an absolute fucking shitbag. If he saw Fellaini, then he has to send him off, no question.

That half fairly flew by.

Am I lowering my expectations by saying I'd be satisfied with a 1-0 win?

ok, i'll be the one to say it: dzeko has been fucking garbage in spite of his tap-in. among other things, he should have buried that ball from silva but was caught on his heels once again.

I am really worried, that fucktard will sent off Vinnie or Fred at their first mistake. Look at the last moment with Shrek and his decision.

We must not fuck this up, start even more intense the second one.

Your are boring with Dzeko mate , Silva miss chance Nasri hit post Dzeko hit goal and hit target but De Gea was there with good save .

Ref having a laugh. Fellatio has to go for that. In fairness, Wellbeck seems to trip over himself before clattering Zabbo. so yellow fair imho.

Demi playing very well so far, even tho they are targeting him.

Dzeko running his ass off, defending well. I'm guessing we'll see Beast for him after 65-70 mins as he'll be knackered.

Ferdo have a poorish game. Yaya lazy looking but still playing ok.

Nasri needs to step up a bit - he's our quietest for me.

Silva on fire. Navas doing well. Full backs both doing well.

Just need that 2nd goal for easy street.

We gotta win this one from here. Pellers to light a fire under them for 2nd half. Komps will not be s/o hopefully, and they are deffo due a red.

Come on City!

That half might have been ultimately disappointing (though not in the scheme of things if we take the points), but I still enjoyed it a lot more than the numerous cagey encounters we have had with the Rags over the decades. I've been beside myself with stress some years, but all I feel at the moment is mild trepidation.
