Not sure I like Ireland being so deep

Leeds lad do we just watch the same game?

SWP was outstanding im not suprised he was knacker on 75 minutes he worked his arse off and scored a cracking goal.

I thought SWP started off poor and got better as the game went on like a steam engine and then finally scored at the train got to the station so to speak :p.

Thought Tevez possibly worked even harder than Sweep tonight - the guy has a point to prove (primarily to bacon face) and you gotta love him for that !!

cant believe you said SWP was poor?

SWP opens teams up , the only player that can do that in the whole team his dribbling tonight and this season has been top class!

To be honest the way mark hughes has the team set up i think city want the other team to have possesion and attack us then spring the break every single time. And with the clean sheets coming it looks the best and most exciting way for the team and the players in it to play. I felt sorry for richards to be honest , he had the same problem that bridge had last season no help. Bridge has barry now but who is helping richards? I dont think its irelands best attribute tracking back and defending. He likes to be in the middle and breaking things up in dangerous positions.

I watched the full game and didnt think any player had a bad game , i was worried about tevez though and some of his misplaced passes.

Sweep's movement as he took a pass from someone was fantastic tonight, he turned and dodged himself into space a number of times. He really put a full shift in.

Job done really. We could have had a couple more, it wasn't perfect but exciting at times. Shay and SWP were excellent tonight. Would've preferred Ireland to to play further forward but he did ok.

Can I say Well Played to Palace??? They really put us under pressure, particularly in the first half.

To our lads, an even bigger Well Done! Showed good fortitude and the fact Shaunie pushed us over the line shows we need the true City players to take us forward.

Good result.

Some really good attacking football, just the final pass needs to happen better, give it time, it will. When it does we will score great goals at speed. Delighted for Tevez to score - another of the new players breaks his duck.

1st half we took a lot of pressure and credit to Palace they made Given work - a lot!

Challenge on Moses from Bridge - shocking. Just hope the lad is ok.

Why did those people run on the pitch when SWP scored. Do some not learn??

In the end I think class told and we scored 1 top class goal and Tevez just stood yards out and headed the ball in! Did we score from a corner??

Cup draw Saturday. Bring it on!

high hopes zabs gets the nod sunday, i have to think our starting XI will be a bit different as fatigue will certainly play a part. would also like to see de jong in midfield.

i may be mistaken but i believe i heard the draw for the next round is saturday.

It is in Hong Kong Smith time.
