Just heading off to the game now. Got plenty of pre match nerves/excitment. Can't wait for it to start. Only problem is I'm sitting in Rag end and don't know if I'll be able to contain myself if we score, oh well lets hope that opportunity comes along eh.

Come on you blues!!!!

I feel the same mate. Keep getting texts asking me where I'm watching it but I'm staying at home. I hate the red bastards anyway but on Derby day they just bring out the worst in me.

Likewise.

Old man, brother and nephew round at mine. I never watch these in public. Too many rags about, even up here.

Everywhere mate. I was PMing with John the other day and told that I NEVER go to pub to watch The Derby. I get WAY too emotional and the very much non-violent man that I am, there's big chance I might go OTT especially if we conceded and some knob jockey started to rub it in my face. Which they would do.

i like the banter - nothing better than celebrating like mad in a pub full of rags. fucking quality.

Oh I agree..... that is IF you are celebrating. But some fucking "United since 99" dickhead giving it large when we've just conceded...... I reckon I could easily snap.

Truth is, I'll be watching the game with a rag friend of mine but he is proper football supporter and third generation rag. We've been watching most Manchester Derbies together since we were kids and he knows how much it means to me and knows when to shut the fooooook up. + He is one of the few Rags outside Manchester I've ever met who thinks playing us is their real Derby and agrees that essentially Rags-Scousepool is "gloryhunters Derby" (Well maybe not with those exact words but you know what I mean).
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

Aye best to stay out of the way. I'm always fearful of saying or doing something that I'd regret.

Big, big gamble with Tevez's fitness in my view.

Tevez starting? Fantastic! The risk is well worth it for the drama of it all. This is what football is about, no?

Off to the pub with my little ragtag crew of converted City fans, to meet up with the red supporters who are easy to find in these parts.

Have at 'em, you Blues!
Proud to outfit my local league team in Sky Blue.

COME ON CITY!

All I want for my birthday is a derby win.

COME ON CITY!
So fucking nervous, but still looking forward to this like a kid on Christmas.

Missed a sitter to win my own game this morning, so I'm hoping that City can help me get over that nightmare.

A glass of red and some dry roasted peanuts ... Here WE GO!
