So who do you propose to bring on for Jo and Milner? SWP and AJ? What do you thin that would mean for the balance of the team?

AJ for Milner........swp for stupid bolloks.

Glad to see a constructive post. I totally agree on AJ on for Milner. I would keep Jo on for a while longer though, since he's pretty much the only outlet we have when we need to hoof it. SWP to replace him after 20-25 minutes to run at them.

So 45 mins of watching Jo has taught you nothing then? you want to give 20-25 mins more?????

Need Benjani. He's just scored.

I'd for with..
AJ for Jo.
SWP for Milner (or Yaya if he's ill - move Milner to the middle where he can play)
Vieira for Barry or NDJ late on (Barry's been poor but either could get sent here).

I'd bring Johnson on for Jo straightaway. Why wait 15 minutes? Very worried that De Jong and Barry have yellows already. They're just a mistimed tackle away from a red. Trouble is Vieira's just too slow for this game; can Roberto really risk him? Also looks like one game too many for Yaya; he already looked knackered in the second half against Blackpool. We look slow and cumbersome in midfield but part of it's the opposition. Let's face it Arsenal away is the toughest game all season bar none.

0-0 would be a fantastic result.

We need to develop a backbone against our title rivals and quickly. It's bloody Spurs opening game of the season all over again.

Look at it though mate, that's the game plan from the Boss. Don't let them score at all costs and then hope for one on the break or from a set-piece. With these tactics we'll be very lucky to come away with 11 players on the pitch, unless Mancini gives us some forward impetus.

With the squad available tonight I don't see that many other options. What I think we lack most is a good back-up for Silva. We have no one to keep possession and to deliver good passes.

To be fair, Arse is a nice team to watch.
One touch football, surprising runs, looking for scoring.

We had a very good defence in the box and looked like trying to play chess in the first part of the half.
Hope our/Bobby match plan works well.....

By the way, aggree with the Jo thing, he´s got a bad day at the office....

What I cannot handle is when a ball is played up field and that slow cunt cannot get to it...he puts his hand up to say thanks...thats the precise moment I scream at the screen " RUN FOR IT YOU FUCKING SLOW CUNT"

I cannot handle watching him the second half...seriously Mancini.....take him off now.

Arsenal have lost 3 at home this season and have only the 8th best home record. They are entirely beatable if you play them the right way.

Zaba outstanding again; wonderful clean tackle to dispossess Walcott in the box.
Richards very poor, though.
Does this mean Manc is giving up on Boateng?
(and why not Lescott at left back, with Zaba at right?)

Fair point about their home record but they've got everybody fit and at it which I'm not sure was true when those poor results occurred. At their best they're a very tough proposition. My own feeling is that our midfield could do with a bit more snap and pace particularly with no Silva. Barry is slow, De Jong not swift and Yaya is obviously leggy. Result they're passing through us.

Easy to blame the tactics but I'm not sure that's the cause. I would bring on Johnson because it would occupy Clichy and then put Milner back on the left where he could cover Zabaleta. And then pray.

Sagna nearly injured from a contact with Jo. Even Wenger was like 'LULZ, dude, how can you be softer than Jo'
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?
