we are doing alright, we have to be careful on their counter attacks because we are playing with very attacking fb's ... and I can't help think a player with a little more creativity would have done something special in the situations that milner has found himself in. That being said, can't fault his work rate ... just wish there was more end product.

What a tackle from de Jong, that had to be 100 per cent on time.

Stand up to the dirty bastards City!. They all soon cleared off from round Milner when De Jong came strutting by!

Just losing that little bit of pace we started with, need to pump it back up a bit!

reasonably happy with that - milner and the defence playing very well and nige and baz doing their jobs.

if/when dzeko clicks we might just nick this.

Hmmm, quiet half, not much in it at the moment.
Silva needs to get into the game more and Yaya and Milner are wasting possession far too easily.

milner has made some iffy decisions and a couple of times hsould have put an early cross in, or been more responsible with the ball. Working hard and getting involved with other players, it just isn't coming off in the end. I'd like to see AJ come on some time in the 2nd half and I think it would turn the game on it's head

I'm happy so far, we started very well and bossed the first 15 minutes. The longer it's gone on Chelsea have taken over. Need to come out firing again at the start of the second half

Only a matter of time until Chelsea get a goal I think.

Milner should not play on the wing, it is so crystal clear, why can EVERYONE see it but Mancini does not?

I hope he brings AJ on soon. Everytime we have the ball and could break we stop and slow it down and then lose the ball anyway, it is so infuriating to watch.

Excellent half but we've effectively got Yaya Toure playing the position of Bellamy, Robinho, Adebayor etc. How the fuck have we got ourselves into a situation where the best option for that job is a midfield player who is struggling to run for more than 4 seconds every 5 mins? The nearest Chelsea came to scoring was when he let his man run because he was too fucked to move 5 yards.

One or two of his touches are excellent & he has a sprint & a shot on him but a club of our stature, with our outlay on players, should have a world class striker or someone like Wesley Sneijder in that role. I don't care if he gets 4 goals in the 2nd half, it's fucking wrong that we should need to play him. Rank piss poor planning by the whole management team.

I lost count how many times he has ruined a decent counter attack today by playing a shocking pass to Milner or whoever is wide.
