Ted Hughes wrote:Excellent half but we've effectively got Yaya Toure playing the position of Bellamy, Robinho, Adebayor etc. How the fuck have we got ourselves into a situation where the best option for that job is a midfield player who is struggling to run for more than 4 seconds every 5 mins? The nearest Chelsea came to scoring was when he let his man run because he was too fucked to move 5 yards.

One or two of his touches are excellent & he has a sprint & a shot on him but a club of our stature, with our outlay on players, should have a world class striker or someone like Wesley Sneijder in that role. I don't care if he gets 4 goals in the 2nd half, it's fucking wrong that we should need to play him. Rank piss poor planning by the whole management team.

im with you, he looks abs shattered, maybe aj for him and silva in hole? he 1st on my list to be taken off. We are playing well and i think milner is too(despite whats been said about him here) hes looking to make things happen with shots and taken players on its just not happening yet but his work rate and positivity is refreshing im happy with him to have a few shots when he gets around there box, if you dont shoot you dont score...
derby day the scores were level,

That's bad enough but his fitness levels are just so poor. I know people on here insist his fitness isn't a problem, but on the rare occasion he makes a run, he's bent over with his hands on his knees straight away gasping for breath.

There's is no way on earth a professional footballer should be like that, especially as he makes a burst so rarely.

He's not made for that position on the pitch. We should move Milner there and bring AJ onto the wing, take Yaya off.

I lost count how many times he has ruined a decent counter attack today by playing a shocking pass to Milner or whoever is wide.

Twice or three times. I am still looking to see him make his runs. He will be much effective.

I think we're playing too deep, to the point where Dzeko is effectively being used as an extra midfielder. No speed for the break, I can see this being a long half.
