Douglas Higginbottom wrote:When did we last win away at Arsenal? They had a 2nd string team out and so did we so no issues there.Plus we didnt play well and were never under serious pressure.Just one instance of pure class and we win.

So I think that makes it that in the last 9 games we have played 7 away from home and have a record of:

Played 9
Won 7
Drawn 1
Lost 1
Goals for 26
Goals against 10

Tasty

Thats outstanding: I knew we've been away for the past three games but summarised like that it shows all the signs of a truly great team in the making.
The bitters might snipe about our Champions League record but we've got a young team, and young squad.
We're built to last!

Solid at the back and we put one good move together that won us the game. Pantilimon, Onouha, Savic and Dzeko did well, De Jong and AJ also get nods of acknowledgement.

Citys feeder club 0 City 1!

Whoever we get in the draw, 2nd leg at home please.

If the rags get Cardiff, that will be Leeds, Aldershot, Palace & Cardiff to get to a cup final. Add that to their Champion's Lg draw, then the fact that they have been at home after every single CL game. Surely their luck has to run out & they get us or Liverpool ?

With everyone so convinced the rags are getting cardiff in the next round, I am almost convinced they aren't getting through.

I hope your instincts are correct. That would be fairly hilarious.

I'd love that. One of my best mates is a Palace fan. I'd definitely be going to that with him if we drew them.

You did say "almost convinced."

Not good enough I'm afraid. But we appreciate the effort.

Well you get convinced by a keeper who made two decent saves in one decent performance that he is a better stopper than the england and city number one. Rather be 'almost convinced' than whatever the hell you are.
