Two and half hours to go and no thread? Well, there is now ;-)

A few stats from the Beeb to get us going and don't forget to read Spidey's Preview - a cracking read.

MATCH FACTS
Head-to-head

•This is the 121st meeting between the sides. Blackburn have the upper hand with 50 wins to Manchester City's 42.

•Blackburn have managed only one win at Manchester City in their last nine visits.

•Rovers have only three away wins against Manchester City in the Premier League.

Manchester City

•Roberto Mancini's side are the first team to collect 60 points from 25 matches in the Premier League since Arsenal did in 2007-2008.

•They are unbeaten in their last 22 league matches at the Etihad Stadium, including winning a top-flight club record 17 in a row. If they win on Saturday they will become only the sixth club in top-flight history to win 18 consecutive home matches.

•They have conceded the equal-lowest amount of goals (six) at home in the four divisions of English league football, along with Birmingham City.

Blackburn Rovers

•Yakubu is the first Blackburn player to score 13 goals at this stage of the season (after 25 games) since Kevin Gallacher and Chris Sutton in 1997-98.

•His conversion rate of shots to goals (38 percent) is the best of any player in the Premier League.

•Blackburn have won just two of their last 21 Premier League away games (W2 D8 L11).
