I've got to get through a day of Swiss bankers and friigin London rags tomorrow before sitting down with beers to watch the game with two southern rags - I'm only sleeping tonight sue to copious amounts of alcohol tonight and my son who is 5 has spent the day running up and down the street in a city kit and wrapped in a big flag of mine from the 80s screaming 6-1 outside the rag supporters houses here in Essex - as a moss side boy I'm proud, drunk, nervous but most of all happy were still in it


I hope to feel the same tomorrow night at 10pm and if we are my son will stick it in the face of the rag supporting six year olds he deals with at school every day down here

Cheers mancio - just a little bit challenged by the fact my boy thinks our team is twice as good - he hasn't been through the shit I have over the last 30 odd years - 20 as a season ticket holder before being dragged down to London for work - he is supremely confident in city and predicts a 3-1 win, and in his words "kun will score then lescott, try will get a lucky goal but super Mario will come on and everyone will be looking at him
And rixhards will score" I'm not sure if he is biased because Richards is his favourite player but who cares - he has the faith

I also feel for You, as I did experience of the cockney arrogance during my time in London. mainly was from spuds and arses, tho. Baconface era was just started then (only witnessed the fist 2 titles) and there wasn't plenty of thataround there at that time.

This time tomorrow, I'll be back home. I'm sitting here now thinking tomorrow I'll be doing the same things (brew etc) and will either be grinning like a Cheshire cat or wishing the ground would swallow me up. That's it, there's two emotions at this time tomorrow, complete black and white. There's still tough games after tomorrow, but it feels as if the season has come down to one game at moment

I think they'll come a us early on and get a goal and we will then go on to win it. But it's going to be nerve wracking. Something like 75% of our goals have come in the second half of games, so there's always hope tomorrow, but it could be a long game.

Imodium diet tomorrow, I think.
