I wondered of a back to back demolition all week long (just as every one, I suppose).
but now, after 5 Lagavulin further to a Becks and half packet of Chesterfield, despite being a complete agnostic, I can sense the true peace.
It comes from the deep pleasure of having witnessed the Almighty Citizens beat the horrible cheats fucking bastard red filth by an orgasmic one to nil, despite 5+2 mitutes of fergie times, costantly diving, cheating and seeking in despair for the help of their 12th man, in black.
Scoreline doesn't reflect the game, at all. but it doesn't matter, even more it makes the victory sweeter to me and bitter for them.
Furthermore it shall give a boost of confidence to the players, in the knowledge that now they have proved themselves able even to control a huge game not killed for any meaningless reason.

I'll leave the technical analysis of the game to all other excellent pundit we enjoy onto this great messageboard.

I just am sure that even the three or four reminders of the Mancini doubters have realized what ocean separate the City manager from a clueless: it should have happened when, after 2 and half years of dignified composure in perfect accordance with the tradition of the noble Club he leads, all by sudden he has blatantly attacked, in front of 700 millions people, the living monument of the football world: Sir Cheat. by doing that, he voluntarily damped the last desperate attempt of the old drunk fox to put further pressure on the only man who could have saved them from the failure. and accordingly, he also made a glorious wake up call to the Lads and the whole Blue Army to raise their fight.
that's why I call myself Mancioforever, since when he lead the Club I was born fan of, to defy the evil empire, such as he's now doing for the further glory of MCFC, with class, flair and style: against all odds.

thanks PP, great shot.

problem is that in certain countries, like Italy, video related to EPL are usually locked for copyrights purposes, I reckon.
It's definitely so for match highlights, not sure for interviews, as I managed to watch them few times.
that's why I am usually not arsed to browse. gonna check straight.

I confess I have a snob attitude toward FB and Tweetter: I refuse them because I feel, right or wrong we already have enough intrusions on our own privacy. as said: snob.
cheers.

Haven't posted in quite a while with loads of shit going on but I had to stop in tonight, what a fucking win! Well worth getting up at 2.30am for.

Barry was immense, along with Zab and Nasri in particular, and we got what we deserved. So proud to be a blue tonight and still cannot believe the position we've got ourselves in.

Now to complete the job over the next two games.

Here's a little poem to finish -

On derby day it was nil all,
Til little Silva whipped in a ball.
Rising high the cross was met, a
And Vinny powered it in the net.

Magic

just saw them.
So Sir Cheat, graciously concede they have nothing to claim from the game because they didnt tested the keeper enough...
actually they played 9 behind and never shooted on goal. their whole inspired game plan was keep it tight and hope for the ref being fished by a Young's dive. scared to death.
he didnt waive to single out what dangerous tackler Nige is.
comedy gold.

and what a fucking drunk pronunciation that "they 'nly nid to win win 2 game of fiutbal" was?
even myself can do better, can I?
not...maybe... ?

A great performance by the lads. The rags were very tight defensively but offered naff all going forward. It's a shame we didn't score 2 as the balance of play deserved more than the 1-0 scoreline.

I'm not concerned about Newcastle. It's QPR that bother me. This title won't be decided by both teams winning their last 2 games. More twists to come.

Just going to leave this here -

http://bleacherreport.com/articles/1164 ... nt-kompany?

Manchester City vs Manchester United: Wayne Rooney Will Dominate Vincent Kompany

Vincent Kompany's length on defense makes him a valuable and productive player for Manchester City, but he will not contain Wayne Rooney.

Manchester City and Manchester United will renew their bitter rivalry on Monday, April 30 at Etihad Stadium.

The Kompany-Rooney matchup is key in deciding the outcome of this match.

Rooney has been playing out of his mind, and Kompany's valiant effort isn't likely to bring him to his senses.

Rooney has 26 goals in 29 games started this season in Premier League play. That total only trails Robin van Persie of Arsenal for the Premier League Golden Boot award.

Kompany is a good fit as a Rooney-stopper, but his inability to accomplish his goal is not a discredit to him. It's more of an acknowledgement of just how good Rooney is playing.

Kompany's best chance is to try and frustrate Rooney with physical play. Manchester City can only hope to have Rooney lose his temper and concentration.

But Rooney is so strong and stout on challenges, he is normally able to stand up to physical attempts to disturb ball control.

Yet Rooney is unselfish and patient.

He will allow his teammates to shine. Then when it appears he is working in the confines of the Man U attack, he will explode. Much like he did against Everton on Sunday.

Rooney had two goals in the match that ended in a 4-4 draw.

I expect No. 10 to stay hot and lead the Man U past Man City.

It's the truth, drink it straight.

Yesterday was EPIC.

The only thing wrong with the night was the thick cunts throwing fireworks at the rags, non of them even reached the rags. They all landed in our own fans. SPASTICS.

Fucking love the "it's not over, they are favourites" line. I cannot wait to hear it after the QPR game when they ask him what it feels like to be champions.
