what a horrible half of football.

swansea have totally figured us out (as other teams will do). We are letting them have the ball, applying no pressure and when we have the ball they are marking us tightly and we look lost.

why cant we play the same way most other teams in europe play and pressurise as a team, play at a fast tempo with the ball, pass and pull players around the place and create space.

Mancini's tactic of runnin with the ball is making us go down blind alley's and his tactic of dropping off and letting them work the ball up to our box is goning to create chances for them. i thought this thick Italian prick would have learned something from the last 3 CL games but obviously not

What are u talking about? He hasn't taken one! Corner was aguers, free kolorov?

He took a corner from the left, and hit the first man - thought he'd taken the freekick too as he was ordering Barry to get forward - maybe not though.

That was Sergio.

I'd have Kolarov and Sergio off and Dzeko and anyone on and push lazy cunt forward. Then I'd sack Mancini

Enter...Scott Sinclair?

And what's with Kolarov on the right? Twice a simple pass ended up as a throw in because he only has one foot.

Why not? Cant be any worse, can it..
The most important thing for a forward is speed of thought. Top players read the game.

and the ultimate danger is that Swansea will fully work out that runs from deep through our defence will kill us. They saw it work once (nearly twice) and unless we massively up our game we will get nowt from this game.I would be amazed if Mancini does not make changes immediately but I don't know what they will be.Sinclair for Kolarov seems obvious but I thought that would be from the start.

kolarov.
think that giving the piss poor effort particularly from the midfield, getting void the presence itself of the strikers, Mancini should replace him quickly with Balotelli. the link from the 2 depts won't be affected at all and maybe we can have some more chance of one-two among the blokes upfront.

I'm lost anyway. ok we almost have all the midfield at the nursery, ok they might be touched by their ballsless performance in the Chumps, but they seems to have forgotted who they actually are.
And what about the defence? same personnel, playing the system on which they have setlled for two years, but still panicking like scared maidens... wtf!!!

As someone rightly pointed out the defensive issue is solely down to lescott.

While the first half was not good, I don't think it is right for some "fans" to boo the City team as they left the field.

a team aiming where City are, cannot lose confidence that much, so easily and despite the achievements the already got!
