I'm not sure if that was a better first half performance than our last game. We look so flat and devoid of any inspiration. It actually looks like we've got no energy. Are we getting over the hangover?

Saying that, I still think we had control of the game. Swansea tried pushing us early on and played how many have tried to play us this season with a high line, trying to pressurise our defensive players. After that we saw most of the ball and stats showed a 70-30 split at one point.

My question, as from Wednesday, was if Yaya can play 3 games a week and I don't think he can. He did nothing against Ajax and seems to be a passenger again. Sergio, well, is he on the field? I mention these 2 as, for me, they were our most influencial players last season yet this, they are still waiting to shine.

As for the commentary (I'm on ESPN), I'm not sure what they are trying to get across but they are on a real downer with City. At the start of the game they said there had been problems (transport by the sounds of it) and there were many City fans still waiting to get to their seats yet mid-game they say that it's SC holders who couldn't be bothered after the Ajax game? It's been a bit of a slating all match with their little digs and snipes, it's beginning to rile. I want to see us score now just to see how they react.

Not great, not bad, just a very average game where I know if we step up, we'll win the match.

I knew it wouldn't be easy.

Come On City!!!

I know you believe there's no bias but fuck me, this is horrendous! Says that there was little touch on Mario but then comes out with Micah was all over him. Absolute piss-take.

Joe Hart, you're a star.
