Well Mr Rogers, if there wasn't any pressure on your team before today, then there certainly is now.

Let's see how you handle it.

Earlier tonight in the car, I was switching Radio Stations between Talkspite and FiveLive and listening to droves of Liverpuddle fans ringing in to complain about Chelsea's "tactics" and how unfair and "anti-football" these had been. They sounded just like your archetypal spoiled brats and were in total melt-down.

Wouldn't be surprised if, by tomorrow morning, the Police aren't fishing a load of dead bodies out of the Mersey.

Wow. Never saw all that coming and what a tremendous additional opportunity we have.

Yesterday was eerily similar to that glorious sunday in April 2012 when Utd slipped up at home to Everton and we won at Wolves. Lets hope the final outcome is the same.

A professional performance yesterday and did what we needed. Ya Ya provided the spark and the class, Garcia, Demichelis and Kompany the grit and backbone and the rest all contributed with Zabba especially back in box to box lung busting fashion.

Everton Away is now like the Newcastle Away game in 2012. A hugely difficult game, but one in which a win is likely to put us in the box seat.

Come on City!

Superb. They mentioned on TV that when one of the subs heard the news of the 2nd goal whilst warming up, dashed off the pitch and down the tunnel to tell the lads.

Bet they were buzzing, I know I was.

2-0 win away from home against a team that have won 5 straight and he says it wasn't a 'champion's performance', City didn't 'show how good they were' and good teams 'don't rely on one player'.

Amazed at Souness. He has consistently been one pundit who has given us an ounce of credit, then today he came out with basically a load of horseshit. Even Quinn stepped in and saw it for what it was. Job done, three points, improved goal difference, no more injuries/suspensions and all of this away at a side who had won their last five conceding only once. A very impressive, polished performance.

Souness is just endemic of the dipper led media. They all thought it was won and done and dusted and the title would be coming home. Well, it is NOT won yet dippers and if we keep our shit together at Everton on Saturday it wont be.

It was incredible. Dont think Quinn or Mr Ed could quite believe it. He had even mixed up facts in his head as he accused us of not being very keen. Until we went 2-0 up we were charging around like mad bulls closing everything down, so maybe he was asleep?

The only thing I can think is that he looked like he was chewing a lemon because Liverpool had just fucked it up.

It's just an example of why ANYBODY winning the league rather than those bastards, is an improvement.

If we win it now, especially after Gerrard's little moment, I will be even happier this summer than I was after the last one, especially as I will be encountering lots of Irish & Scandinavians, most of whom support Liverpool or Utd & the Liverpool ones are all much more arseholes than the rag ones.

Great result for us.

I had £100.00 on Palace at 7/1 couldn't resist those odds on an inform Palace, because I thought it would be virtually dead rubber for us(Liverpool home win).

We played really well.A good professional performance.

I should have known better.

The only time I am really happy to have lost money.

Come on City don't blow it now.

Could you put another £100 on an Everton win

No chance lmao.

I thought Liverpool would win.No David Silva for us usually = no creation.Very rare i gamble unless the odds look decent.7/1 would have paid me £800 if City had not turned up.Was a win win day for me,i said to my mate i would obviously much rather we win ,no brainer.

To be fair ( on me lol) i think most blues thought we would get fuck all yesterday,a few had a sneaky cover home base bets but wont admit it..

I always had us down for a win. Could never bet against us, just seems wrong.
