I feel like we have a cup final to play - which we do, really. Big game, lets get a big result.
VIVA EL CITIES

Can't wait for tonight, productivity levels have been about 5% since Saturday's game, which seems like it was about 3 months ago!!

I just wanna go straight to the ground from work......not sure the missus would be happy if I left her at home though!

Come on City!! Concentrate on our game, get behind the lads! We CAN do this!
"If we fire our manager after just one bad season - We'll become Chelsea"
"If we think we can fix the problem by buying expensive players - We'll become City"
"If we remember the good times to entertain us during the bad times - We'll become Liverpool"

So, keep calm and do it the United way

"We invest in young players, That is what we are good at — we’re not like other clubs who can spend fortunes on proven goods. We know that Manchester City are going to pay stupid money, pay silly salaries and all that. We can’t do anything about it. We concentrate on what we can do to try to bring players in for the right reasons. We invest in those who will be with the club for a long time, who will create the character of the club, who will create excitement for our fans. We are very proud of that and we are going to continue that way" - Alex Ferguson 14th May 2012

20 minutes ago a sudden wave of optimism broke out and I wondered to myself what I was ever so worried about. Of course we will win and win well. Thats gone now. Im nervous again.

My Arsenal friend will take me out after the game and buy me a pint no matter which way it goes. My United friends want City to win--they really don't like Liverpool...

This has been a long tense wait. But when I saw Crystal Palace score that third goal, I believe the force is with us!
Come on City--go right into it!

This is the precise reason I informed mrs rural to kindly fuck off from nattering and I will quit when the season is out.

I hope to fuck we have enough left in the engine room to drag ourselve over the line. Think the knowing we can lift the trophey come sunday will spur us on.

I have two predictions. ...

1 - 1 go down a goal with a silly mistake in the first ten mins, Villa defend like fuck and chance after chance goes sailing by. Only to have Garcia knock one in on ninety mins.

Or

The favoured route! 6 - 1, city to be three up after twenty mins and Villa to get one back. All out in second half to stop any potential banana skin and a further three goals in second half!!!

So long as we dont have a repeat of the last very long 20 minutes at Everton, defending a goal lead.

I gave up way back in 1999, but it's no co-incidence it was in June, it would never have worked if I had had to watch City every week for the first few weeks. It was about 3 weeks after the Gillingham play-off win :-)
