Good thought. Maybe a punch up between Messi & Lewandowski also.

Looks like we are on course for hell of a game

Looking good, end-to-end stuff.

The look on the ref’s face when he realised it was Messi who fouled. Shit out of the yellow card.

This could/should be 3-3 already. Two heavyweight teams trying to prove their dominance early.

Goodnight Barca. This could be a right hammering. The manager could well be sacked about five minutes after the final whistle

Insane half of football.

Barca are an utter joke and Messi must be wondering what he's done to wind up on Argentina again as his club side.

Bayern looking so lethal as well! Sure favourites for CL now. They looked great, but Barca are such a mess. Wow really.

I was wondering if he may be sacked at half time after that showing.

Anyone paying attention knew this might have happened coming into this game with Bayern in form and Barca in crisis basically, but this was a the kind of hammering even I wasn't expecting.

Good that Bayern show mettle tonight, helps the preparation. not bothered about Bayern. Barca are absolutely awful. Messi is finished and i am pleased we didn't get DeJong, Clueless.

It so easy to see why Barca have fallen apart this season. Their front 3 don’t do anything for the defensive shape and watching Messi it’s clear to see that he’s basically in it for himself, only getting interested when he thinks there’s a sniff of a goal or when he can get an oppo player back.

Reminds me of the Argentina side in the last 2 Championships, Messi basically taking over as manager and getting Sergio demoted to the bench.

Bayern are very good though, forcing Barca’s hand at every turn. I have every confidence in our team but with a stroll in the 2nd half for Bayern and one day less to to train, it does put us at a disadvantage. Unless, that is, we put 4 past Lyon in the first 20 and then stroll for the rest.

Curious if Messi will stay after this.

That might look bad, but I wouldn't blame him for leaving. It's not his fault they built this team so poorly.

They have Pjanic coming in but that's another aging star. I guess also there to tutor De Jong a bit?

Either way Eric Garcia I don't think will be the answer to their problems.

Not bothered about Bayern?

Have you been watching them mate?

Yes, Barca are a complete disaster but since the manager change Bayern drastically changed for the better have steadily been improving since then.

Since the re-start they've been the best side in Europe, I'd contend, and they look it.

I would say that Messi is one of the instigators of his own position. He’s had no interest in this game and Barca are basically playing with 10 men against a possible best European team.

He’s been absolute shite when he could’ve at least done something to bring some pride.
