Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

He needs to go.
We’ve had other managers to win leagues Mancini and Pelligrini, we can get another.
Pep prioritises winning the charity shield and Carribou cup over matches like tonight, he clogs up our fixture lists and leaves us tired and jaded.
Tonight he showed Lyon far too much respect copying them unnecessarily playing 3-5-2. Playing Rodri, Ferndainho and Gundogan was far too conservative.
Bringing Mahrez on was too late and not bringing Foden and Mendy on when it was obvious.
I get we were robbed for the second Lyon goal but Pep is solely to blame for how we turned a magical performance against Madrid into this shite.

It’s a good question - who is out there?
People will take the piss but I’d like Nuno from wolves

I'd bring in Mike Bassett

Dreadfully negative manager Glad to see the back of him.
But that tonight is the third year in a row we have lost to a vastly inferior side in the 1/4's
Terrible, terrible team selection.
City and sniffing knickers.
Come on Blues.

His record in this competition is shocking....disgraceful actually but what really grates me is his fucking stupid tactics and line ups...its his down fall but he will never change it.
We had ZERO invention in midfield tonight...none..Foden , Silva (any of them ) should have played today as Lyon are woeful and they will get absolutely fucked by BM..make no mistake about that.
I'm not one of the suicidal PeP fanatics, like some on here , so I wouldn't give 2 shits if he left - there are more than enough talented managers out there to carry our club forward and bring in new ideas.
BTW we lost 9 matches last year and came 18 points behind the dippers...got embarrassed by Arsenal ...but we did win the fuckign milky bar cup again........is that good enough for a 20 million pound a year manager ?
No.
THEY SAY SWEARING IS DUE TO A LIMITED VOCABULARY. I KNOW THOUSANDS OF WORDS, BUT I STILL PREFER "FUCK OFF" TO "GO AWAY"

Losing to a second rate spurs last season, and now a lyon team that Bayern will utterly destroy.
It's very annoying.
And totally unnecessary.

I wouldn't jump on the Bayern would do us one waggon.
I had a slim hope this could be our year because of how we played versus Madrid. We won home and away versus a huge team that was favorite in front of us and won la Liga without having any issues (plus support).
Bayern would had been the same, so, they would have been more open on the back.

I’m nonplussed at the mo, I just don’t know the answer. I’m troubled by Peps decision making that’s for sure, he has such a squad at his disposal, it would probably be better if he didn’t and had a fairly regular starting line up

Pretty much where I am on this. Too much tinkering trying to cover all the bases. We have ended the season with the league cup. It's not 1976 any more

knee jerk reactions never prove worthwhile.
Now then, why hasn't anyone stsrted a "Laporte out" thread ?
What he did ( and it is most certainly not the first time !) to give Lyon possession for their second goal is outrageous !

Barca made Bayern look good. Having said that Bayern would have torn us to shreds tonight, any good team would have.
Were were a mess.

City from tonight? No doubt.
City vs Madrid or Scouse? Not that sure.
