Similar thing happened to Sane. Class one season, then barely given a sniff. Someone will pull up some stats showing total matches played, but the fact is he started 23 premier league matches and that’s not good enough for our former POTS.
Probably because Bernardo has been absolute shit when he has played
OTT. He’s been “shit” a handful of times. He’s been decent most of the time, just not at the levels he was the season before. But that often happens when you’re in and out of the team.

He’s a quality player. He’d have been far more effective than Fernandinho last night. Tireless energy. Playing in his own country. Bags of invention. Can score a goal from nowhere.

Okay, you're right. That was OTT. He was still decent but Id argue not good enough to displace Sterling and Mahrez on the wings this season

Agree with Sterling and Mahrez. But a lot of the time this season we’ve been crying out for some dynamic play in the middle and some energy. Bernardo is perfect for that and showed he can play there a few times 18/19

Appears Thiago is off to Liverpool. Theyre going to be even harder to catch next season. A Fabinho, Thiago, Henderson/Gigi midfield will be pretty good.

If Thiago was good Bayern would keep him.

Stay clear, he's a injury prone, probably worst than Mendy. I'd go for Aurora whatever his name from Lyon and get rid off Gundo

Of course it will never happen.
But who I am kidding, if we get him it would be unreal.

Manchester City are set to trigger a £25 million buy-back clause for former player Douglas Luiz.

Didn’t see that one coming - I’d have to question the point? I don’t think he qualifies as home grown?

I think Pep has fancied him every summer, but we couldn’t get a work permit. He’s got one for two more years now I think, and he’s also played a full international match for Brazil apparently.
Pep must rate him. Apart from a class goal at the start of the season I didn’t see much from him that impressed me.
