Chelsea signed Thiago Silva.

Good transfer that, even if he is old.

Eric Garcia seems to be clinging onto his last year contract with us - seems the transfer to Barcelona isn't on.

Id make sure he goes - ever since that lying cunt Milner did the dirty on us, with his refusal to go until the end of his contract, we cannot afford to allow another cunt to go without a transfer fee.

He played a lot last season until the pandemic came. I think he still has one season in him, don't know if he will adapt to the league. It will be interesting to follow.
The good part about him is that he is a leader and knows how to organize on the back.

If he stays until the end and leaves next summer I’m sure it’ll go to a tribunal mate. He can’t leave for free surely?

Maybe he is hoping to prove his value next season and get a better contract offer (from us!)

Does that happen across countries- fucked if I know?

Saw him being interviewed over here in spain earlier this week - he's away with the national squad was talking about Messi to City
If he looks at the state of both us and Barca, you'd think he would stay here another contract whilst Barca rebuild he has time on his side

Players in their last year of their contract are always in the driving seat and, as much as it pisses me off , anyone that hasn't got any real affinity with the club would always play hard ball.

He can have a decent signing on fee if he signs on a free or he can negotiate nearly as much if he leaves now - he holds all the cards.

Only in the driving seat if they are good Carl. Some we have let go we are glad to be rid of.

In a back 3 with Az and Rudiger I could see him featuring quite often

Even if Barca are fucked hes likely seeing Laporte, Ake, and Koulibaly (aka a CB summer signing) ahead of him in the order.

I can see that lump of shite Mendy doing a Danny mills...run his contract down to the last day as no cunt with half a brain would buy him.

Both Laporte and Ake are left -sided CBs which only leaves a potential right footed signing. If he doesn't back his own ability, then that's on him.

Everton look like recruiting awhole new midfield after agreeing a deal for Doucre from watford.

If they get hold of a striker they could do well next season - as long as they can keep the ball away from Pickford....
