Wolves have signed another Portuguese player. Rising talent Fabio Silva signs for Porto for 40m which is a great deal considering his release clause was 125m.

Maybe this will aid us in signing Jimenez next season (i hope).

He's played around 500 minutes of senior football to date, 40million a great deal?

Interested to see how this one goes, saw him a few times for Napoli and he seemed like a Fernandinho/De Jong hybrid, looked ideal for Premier League football.

For a player with a release clause of 125M who is the most hyped young Portuguese player in awhile who also scored an insane amount of goals for Porto's youth set up yes, I would say it is a good deal. Remember, 40M today isn't what 40M was 3-4 years ago. Now top players go for 60m minimum which might've been 45M 3-4 years ago.

In hindsight of course but hype is one thing.

I rate him very highly. Top 5 striker in the prem. Aguero, Kane, Vardy, Jimenez, ?
Do you not agree? Who would you prefer to replace Aguero? Martinez? He dropped off sharply in the 2nd half of Inter's season and scoring in Serie A really means nothing. Jimenez has proved it in the Prem.

He will be 30 by the end of this season. If we are going to sign him it needs to be this year or never but for me never, he would never replace Aguero. Hes been a one in four man his whole career, while i dont doubt hes a half decent prem striker he most definitely isnt the answer to replacing kun. I dont know what that answer is but signing Jiminez would be akin to signing Bony. He had proved it in the prem the season before we signed him too!

The last time we bought a player that he represents was ten years ago - Mad Mario.

Reading the list of players he’s an agent for is like reading a list of the biggest dick heads in football.

He won't actually go to the rags, but they along with Madrid have previously dealt with his agent recently

Barca will be having a fire Sale, They are skint. Most of the squad are up for sale. Messi staying means 130 mill Griezman is surplus. Koeman and the President are 9 months from being booted out. Shambles until Election and Xavi arrives. If Laporta throws his hat in it could be very interesting for us ?
