Well, they pushed it through in the CL so now they want the same concession in the PL.

It’s nothing more than a power play by the cartel clubs to hijack the league in a time of crisis. Right out of the Trump playbook, trying to capitalise when people are going through pain.

Rag Central, no surprises there.

Its because the plan segregates the longest running clubs atop the hierarchy from the rest. Its not bias.

It’s not bias? No, it’s not, it’s fucking corrupt and a way for the American owners to dictate new rules in the future.

Oh, and I was talking about the BBC. Another set of corrupt bastards!

What are your thoughts, good for the sport?

Yes it is . Stop being stupid. You are uninformed. The structure of English football is such that Amateur teams can work their way up the leagues into the top four profi leagues . Hence teams like Hereford, Wigan get a chance.

The English game doesn't need the north american style franchising at all.

Non-league Sheffield F.C., founded on October 24th 1857, is the world's oldest club, and Notts County, founded in November 1862, is the oldest league club. Football existed and flourished for over 130 years before the money grab of the Premier League. This "shake up" looks as much like bias as the founding of the PL. I'll believe it isn't just another money grab by the "elite" clubs when I see the evidence.

Well, by looking at the BBC HYS it seems most are on the same page and clearly disagree with their own clubs.

‘Thats all they care about 'The Brand' and how to make as much money as possible with scant regard for how it will effect other clubs and us Football fans. Plus as a United fan this would be a disaster as we would never get rid of the Glazers who will be able to pocket even more money from the club. What exactly does 'Special Status'.’

Probabil we will be in that list, but this doesn't mean this isn't shit.

Yep, it's a coup d'état, and it fucking well stinks. They'll do anything to remain the billy bigbollox of the English game.
It should be dismissed out of hand, if for no other reason than Parry dreamed it up.

From other media sources it looks like Parry had already been offered a package from the PL but been holding out. It now turns out that he was holding out to use the package to allow the Dippers and Rags to steal the PL.

What cunt would do that when it’s members are suffering?

I’m surprised, even the government can see what is happening. If that’s the case, the ‘closed shop’ cartel have had their chips well and truly pissed on, showing them up for the cunts that they are.

The Department for Culture, Media and Sport condemned what it called a "backroom deal".

"We are surprised and disappointed that at a time of crisis when we have urged the top tiers of professional football to come together and finalise a deal to help lower league clubs, there appear to be backroom deals being cooked up that would create a closed shop at the very top of the game," a DCMS spokesperson said.

"Sustainability, integrity and fair competition are absolutely paramount and anything that may undermine them is deeply troubling. Fans must be front of all our minds, and this shows why our fan led review of football governance will be so critical."

Can I just say that I am actually livid with this. During a period that we should all be working fo rather common good, the Rags and Dippers try and take advantage of a crisis just to suit their own needs.

Parry and the red cunts are basically trying to hold football hostage. What a fucking disgusting trick in such a time, the worst thing I’ve probably ever seen in football.

Would like to see a Khaldoon interview dismissing this out of hand, reminding all that we fucking hate these pricks with a passion.

This basically has the same objectives as FFP except this time we are allowed in as long as the door is closed tightly behind us.

Im 100percent against this and i think the fact they are using a global pandemic as an opportunity to grab power is disgraceful.
derby day the scores were level,
then the goat was fed by neville,
silly boy should know for sure,
feed the goat and he will score!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have gone right off football if I'm being really honest here and it will not surprise me if I never get that same passion back again.

When you see so many people going bankrupt and lives being torn apart from having to close your business down and partners breaking up due to the stress of it all , whilst other folk try to do everything they possibly can to put food on the table , pay the rent and keep the family together (I am mainly talking about 2nd and 3rd world countries here) and then you see these fucking cunt footballers, partying , sticking 2 fingers up at the common peasant and then whining about the mental problems they have with this lock -down ............I have no stomach for it.

This latest disgrace just puts the icing on the fucking cake - how the fuck can anyone really show any passion for our game after all this bollocks?

I don't even think I am over reacting either - what a fuckign state.
THEY SAY SWEARING IS DUE TO A LIMITED VOCABULARY. I KNOW THOUSANDS OF WORDS, BUT I STILL PREFER "FUCK OFF" TO "GO AWAY"

Ha hahah. So apparently City are not actually included in the group of clubs that get a vote. 9 is an odd number anyway don't you think?? Its such a blatant, unapologetic land grab.

"Liverpool & United's new plan to buy off the EFL also gives special status to the 9 longest serving premiership clubs. City just happen to be the 10th longest serving club."
