Premier League Changes | Biggest Shake-Up in a Generation

Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

"Cost Controls & Related Party Income

Financial Fair Play rules that align with Uefa to ensure English clubs are not at a disadvantage in Europe;

A £50 million cap per annum on all related party transactions and a more stringent ‘related party’ definition;

Premier League executive provided with full access to clubs accounting information to investigate cost control."

And there you have it! Where UEFA failed, Parry and co are still trying. YCNMIU. Cunts, the lot of them!

Like Mase said earlier they are frightened to death of us , I knew when we won at CAS it wouldn’t end there , get ready for round two , what’s a fuckin disgrace is the fact that these other clubs go along with this shit ,

This is the end of competition if it gets traction. Franchise would be next. Your team leaves your City if another offers more$

Had another read of it and guess what? Still no mention of debt. Who the fuck is this supposed to "help"? Because it certainly isn't football in England......

Cannot fault both red shites - whio are morphing into one for the timing of this, talk about making a play whilst the majority are suffering. Absolute pair of disgusting horrible clubs. Stinks of greed and bully boy tactics. Agree with an earlier poster, this is also an effort to get someone else to fund the overdue rebuild to the swamp - clever, manipulative bastards

I still can’t believe this proposal, it’s just so so wrong taking advantage of the financial strain the smaller clubs are under at present.

Why should a small number of big clubs have more of a say in things than other clubs? The credibility of competition in English football is lost if this allowed happen.

If does I’m finished, had enough already with the way modern football is being run but this will be the final nail in the coffin.

I can see the attraction for the EFL and for the PL clubs that get extra power, but there seems nothing in it at all for the bottom half of the PL, except less cash to share out.

Well any doubt about the existence of a cabal/cartel has now been removed forever, also the end of such garbage as “this means more” from those cockroaches in dipperville.
This self serving package to ensure the powerful elite remain in pole position forever is so predictable, truth be told it is to prevent upstarts like City getting into the castle before the draw bridge is raised. It is absolutely fucking disgusting and an insult to every fan, other than rags and dippers that is, it should be fucked off with extreme prejudice.

I suppose my view and the view of the club us we’d rather be inside the tent pissing out, despite the blatant power grab by the so called big boys

yes, we are in their 'big 9', though probably not by choice. the 6 of 9 thing is the key, because rags/dippers/arse know they can bully at least 3 of the others to get the 6 votes they need to pass future rules designed solely to stop us. this scheme will do what FFP couldn't.

It is the 9 teams with the longest continuous presence, so includes us. Not the 9 with the most seasons, which would include Newcastle.

And then UEFA ban the English clubs from the Champions League, because it becomes a corrupt cartel.
