Pep is so honest and also so not interested in explaining himself publicly that I think it causes him problems.

Say compared to Klopp, Mancini and even Mourinho who know how to use the media.

Pep could care less and I do think that hurts him with fans who want to feel love from their manager or that they "get them"

I wish he would do a Bielsa like Powerpoint lecture. Maybe some would calm down then a bit.

A few times when he sniped back at the media I know some liked it. Maybe he's burnt out from the media questioning him constantly and showing all the love they do for Liverpool that we ourselves even see and feel.

Maybe even the players feel some of the glimmer of his approach has worn off because he talks about CL so much but hasn't won in almost a decade with different clubs.

I want him to stay and I think we have a long season to see what happens especially given how strange this season is looking to be.

Some players drop off is a question mark. Some want to blame Pep, but then on the other hand some have blossomed.

That includes Kyle Walker who is FAR better than we expected him to be when most thought it was Stones that would be his prize English defender.

When I say he's honest I mean as in an honourable person. Someone who believes in things and sticks to them.

He and Beilsa are considered "stubborn" but in part that's because they are very devout about their beliefs.

Think of how Pep is about Catalan indpendence or other issues.

Actually, his standing up for players in public, which other managers traditionally might not do, is also about that. He won't throw you under the bus almost ever, as a player, in public.

We could lose every game between now and Xmas and Pep will still be here in May. He sees out the contract, no matter what.

He's not going to be here next season. I was happy for him to stay at the start of the season but it's clear now he's outstayed his welcome. We're lucky to have the points we have. It's going to be like Pellers last season with players not giving a shit come November and we're not challenging for the League.

We'll be lucky to finish top 4 this year.
