Can't be furlough money - that's capped at £2500 per month before tax. Either made up shit or an insurance claim against the FA, maybe?
Edit: Just looked it up and it says from FIFA.

Yes , i forgot to mention FIFA. . How can this work and are FIFA setting themselves up for lots of other claims ?

I hope so. Hit them with a claim for every player we've ever had injured on international duty. Backdated at least for the last 10 years!

Looks like its only in major tournaments, so Liverpool shouldn't be due anything

Obviously kept the set-up as if Sterling was still there but decided to stick square pegs into the round hole instead of actually changing the tactics.

I think those chats with Pep have gone to his head.

From the Beeb:

Trent Alexander-Arnold injured in Liverpool's last game.

Joe Gomez injured in England training.

Andrew Robertson apparently injured for Scotland.

Nico Williams hobbling in the Wales game.

Mohamed Salah self isolating after testing positive for Covid-19 with Egypt.

Shame that .

I guess those magic beans they ate last year for dinner don't work for the covid tests

I’m assuming that’s all that’s being reported, everything else in the world is just fluff.

Just noticed why Grealish gets so many free kicks.

He initiates minor contact and then feigns a foul.

England currently running around like headless chickens, trying to at least look good, but it's plain for all to see that we are as bad as we have been for many, many years.

Southgate a mile out of his depth, and the worst thing that ever happened to our national side was the easiest ride to a World Cup semi-final any team has ever had, keeping him in his job. Mike Bassett would do better.

Sterling is a huge miss for England and even on his off days he is still a far better threat than any out there. He’s the one that makes Kane look good and always gives defenders something to think about. That’s why Southgate is lost without him.

Just noticed that Winks is on the pitch. How that fuck can he be there when he’s played less minutes for his club in the PL than he has for England this season?

Are the FA fuckers on some sort of Backhander for giving crap players England starts?

Can anybody explain the point of the Nations League. I’m fairly sure that England won their group for the Euros but now not sure if we’ve qualified as there’s talk of how you qualify through the NL; is this how Scotland qualified?

Just checked the line ups. Was on the bench

See KDB played the 90 despite being knackered. Great.

Kane does a job for his club it has to be said, but he has been woeful tonight, and always is in an England shirt. Same as Rooney to be honest. As per my earlier comment about Southgate's easy ride, the same can be said about Kane's golden boot.
