Reminded me of the Boxing Day match at Maine Rd . Driven all the way from Middle Europe to sit in the Gene Kelly stand !! On the Christmas morning ( bob Harris show ) radio after 13 hours on the road , ferry , road and snow in England . I couldn't believe i heard Rolf Harris singing "Stairway to Heaven" !
In a pub in Chorlton before the match my brothers and my Dad told me i must have been sleeping on the M1.

At the game i got soaked .... The song hit number 1 in January . Wanchope scored iirc.
