After being discussed for large chunks of the first half of the dippers because we dropped points to WBA, we've now had Tyler mentioning that Wolves beat us last season. No idea what relevance that is as they're playing Spurs. He's also said that Spurs had yellow cards on rotation at Wolves last season as they took turns in taking Traore out but the end justified the means as they won. Non of his usual snide comments about tactical fouls funnily.
Balotelli......that's a brilliant finish.

*coughs*

Deflected own goal was it not ?

Three dubious penalties vs Leicester.

Looking robust going into the next three AWAY games.

I call that ‘Lucky’, but Brom weren’t lucky against the Dippers, they were actually the better team 2nd half. As for the Leicester game, I’m still of the opinion that we were gibbed. We’ve now seen, even in this game, that contact doesn’t mean a penalty whereas those 3 against us were similar to those today but there’s were overturned. And, the handball goal today for Brighton, they are changing the rules right before our eyes!

Looking robust, you say. One thing that has come out of it is that Pep is sick of the shit and shored up our defence. It may not be the full Pep experience but it has proved fruitful. And if it’s the way we need to play to be competitive this season, I’m all for it.

Well said, my man. Pragmatic is the way to go. Despite the lack of goals we've tightened up at the back and are learning how to see games out. Win tomorrow and it's onwards and upwards.

I’m not saying we will win tomorrow against a very different Everton team but I’m sure we will give them a very difficult game. Maybe we will get that little bit of ‘luck’ like many of the others have this season, just to keep the league close.

I think we'll win tomorrow. They were shit against the rags, they scraped through against Sheffield United and they certainly haven't got the squad we have to freshen things up. Win that and we'll be right in the mix

Good weekend for us, all told. 5 of the teams around us dropped points, 2 of them play each other tomorrow so at least one of them is going to drop more. Do our job and we end tomorrow firmly in the top 4 with a game still in hand on some of those around us. Keep believing, blues. This is still in our hands, despite some indifferent performances so far.

The Everton and Chelsea games are must-win if we want to consider ourselves in the title race.

For too long we've been incapable of beating the top sides and we won't win the league without doing so.

It's great we are looking more solid at the back, but beating the poorer sides has never been a problem for us. We need to win the big games. We have a great chance to make a statement over the next week.

How has the WBA goal not been credited as an own goal by Allison? The ball hits the post, bounces out until it grazes his glove then goes back over the line. If that was against us it would definitely be an own goal.
