Bernie was fantastic, Foden worked his arse today and Dias saved our arse with another incredible save.

Top team performance

We have got the spirit and mojo back from 17/18 and 18/19 well and truly back

Foden, Gundogan and Bernie ran the midfield. Dias and Stones solid again. Cancelo quietly decent again and could have bagged a couple of goals on another night. Big Ed did what was necessary

But Bernie just shades it as his goal was the difference

Gundo for me. He was bossing that midfield and controlling the game even before Tintin went off.

Bernardo was outstanding as was Gundo, Foden, Rodri and the back four, Sterling, Jesus might as well not have been on the pitch in terms of creativity. That was a tough game and fair play to the Villa defence. Sterling and Jesus really need a goal.

Rodri played well. The worst City player was Raheem sadly. Really poor I thought. Gave it to Phil.

Foden really does seem to be making his mark this season and got MotM from me, but it was a close run thing with Bernie, who also seems to have got back to his very best.

If we had a world class striker fit and at the peak of his game we would be absolutely unstoppable.

Again a lot of contenders, but I had to decide between Phil & Bernie -- Bernie edged it with the goal. I too have concerns over Gabby, just can't click.

Is not just today.
The problem is he went into hiding and something happened with his ball control. Maybe covid really hit him hard, but he looks bad.

Phil for me, skinned his full back again and again, his decision making was also really good.
Gundogan is just Mr Consistent at the minute, he's been really good game after game.
Honourable mention for Rodders last night, best he's played in a long time- likewise Zinchenko when he came on.
Only 1 of the starting 11 who was poor was Sterling, never looks likely to beat his man any more.
