You can't say Razza was shit Carl.
He was Everton's best defender. He stopped more of our attacks than any of their defenders.

Please tell us how or what he did to softent them up?
He ran up blind alleys. Lacked control of the ball, took touch after touch when a pass or shot was needed. when not running up blind alleys, he was holding the ball until blocked. No comment needed about the shot.
He isn't doing it, he hasn't done it for a while.
With he and his mate Jesus, he blunts our attack.
It is only by the good fortune our other attacking players like Gunga have stepped up that we are getting wins.

He's our only genuine paceman - takes two defenders out leaving room for the full back to move into midfield - more effective with Cancelo in there these days.
Simply don't agree, when our opponents see he's not starting they breathe a sigh of relief. His role cannot be duplicated, a pity he's not getting the breaks currently. I also accept his form is poor - but you know what they say about form and classjohn68 wrote:johnny crossan wrote:john68 wrote:johnny crossan wrote:carl_feedthegoat wrote:Thats why you were taken off Sterling...because you were SHIT and we needed a goal.

He has pace, but has little or no control of the ball when he races.
Today he ran, knocked the ball that far in front of him that it became a pass to a defender.
How often this season has he simply run the ball out of play?
How many times has that pace ended up being an asset?
compare to Foden or Bernie, Razzais a none starter.
