Depends on the variables. As does any signing

Price
Other players who may be available in that position
Who does he replace
Is his position the most needed for a replacement
Salary
Character
Ability to be part of a team and rotation
Plus many others

On the face of I’d say no. A forward is more of a priority. But as a swap for Sterling, I’d certainly entertain that

For me he is one of those players like Bellamy, hate him as opposition & as a person but if he was our player I would probably learn to like him.

Part of me thinks though he's big fish little pond and not sure if he could thrive in the big pond. We need strengthening in other areas of the pitch before we need another Left winger.

Also I am not writing Sterling of just yet, not when he had 3 seasons where he was scoring one in two, I reckon he can come good again like Stones did.

Transfermarkt have him priced at £54M so you can bet your bottom they will want at least double that.

No. We need a striker and we can’t afford both.

100percent cos hes abs quality and was one of the best players in the league til his injury. He would tear it up.

We could get ten years out of him and phil tearing up teams.

I wont be shocked if we go with grealish and an unknown youngster as a striker instead of splashing on haaland.

Another winger would be luxury if we are talking about this year. I don't know where we'd play him. There are other areas of concern.
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

This for me. Maybe he would step up in our set-up but i wouldn't be arsed to not be in for him. We need a striker and a left back as priorities

This

Gundo isn't getting younger, Fern is leaving, we'll be short in midfield before we know it. If buy him then loan him back to yellow Krauts to carry on developing.

Hes not a winger for me, he can play 7,8,10,11 and knowing pep prob as a false nine too. I get we have other areas of concern too and thats prob the main stumbling block for Grealish.

He’s 26 in the summer. Talk of getting 10 years from someone that relies on running at oppo players is doubtful. The price is never going to be right for an English player. I still think we did well with Walker.

I rate Grealish but our priority is a striker.

With Aguero leaving and Jesus not being a prolific striker, it's essential we bring someone in this summer.

Even though we are having a great season, in recent weeks we increasingly seem to be taking longer to make the breakthrough and take a lead in matches. An injured Aguero is a key part of this. Plus, as always, teams will eventually find a way to play against us so we need to continually evolve.

Our focus this summer must be to bring in a new striker.
