Not even close. Bernardo even shit was a class above Sterling.

Sterling is just mediocre. Always was.

That is unfair. 79 goals in the three previous seasons to this one suggest otherwise. He is a long way off his best this season, that’s a given, but he was never mediocre prior to that

No, pal, the stats don't work with him. Split those in the middle and you would rarely find 15 as winners or in a moment things actually mattered.
He was mediocre and he is mediocre, not even in a million years a world-beater. Raheem is actually a really lucky fella to have the chance to be surrounded by so many valuable players and play at this level.

I am sorry, I want him to be otherwise, I would love any of our players to be that, but let's face the facts and see he will never have moment that will remain up there, forever. His career will always be "an open goal when we are 3-0".
It's time to move on, it will be better for the both sides, imho.

Not sure what what you've been watching. Sterling was never mediocre, he's certainly gone to shit this season, but in the past has been match winner.
And the other scapegoat Jesus has played his bollox off yet again, quite effectively.

Sterling's last winner was Soton, 2017. Downfall from that.
Ah, and before that, 6 great months, and before that 2 mediocre years.

I really can't understand why some have this obsession with Sterling and think is just his form. It's not.

Torres has done nothing since he joined to impress me. Will give him a pass til next season but would rather see phil or mahrez out there today. In fact id make a double at half time and bring those two on.

I’m surprised anybody is surprised at that performance, keep saying this is a team game, eight fucking changes, enough said, we are not winning this game unless he makes changes, like upgrade to eleven men by removing Mendy

Not anymore, I gave him benefit of doubt on many occasions, based on this performance,

Can't hold the ball
Can't dribble
Can't press
Pass sideways and backwards
Can't create
Not threatening and can't finish

Not worth his salary, time to move him on

This.
However, those 8 are playing a Cup semifinal on the biggest stadium in the country. If that is not motivation, I don't know what is.

Foden, Mahrez, Gundogan, Foden and Walker. 5 subs permitted. Get them on and we'll win. He won't.

We are as good as out I'd say. Hate to say it but that's the hard fact unles we completely change things around.
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

Last 3 seasons he's scored 20,17and 18 league goals. I'm certainly not obsessed, you're just talking shite.

Pal, he's been 6 years here, he never scored against the rags. Last year he managed to score one past Scouse. His first in 5 years.
Give it a rest. 18 out of those goals are when we were 25 up ffs

Time for some Foden magic - it's also infectious.

I think we all know Sterling hasn’t been great this season, yet he’s still our second highest scorer.

He scored 31 goals last season yet people call him a “Championship Player”.

When he’s not playing well he should be dropped.

But some of the comments about him on here are just moronic.
