Let's see now, Mancini blew it by wanting too much control, Pellers was always a stop-gap while Pep's Munich contract ran out. Where as Pep was the favoured child of City's very astute management/ownership unit. Is it any wonder they didn't get the same time?

I think it’s fair to say everyone agrees he’s a great manager and there’s not really anyone better.

But he cannot be trusted to not make stupid decisions in big moments.

The thread asks when we will trust Pep. Tonight and the FA Cup semi final this season demonstrate why, no matter how great we might think he is, we cannot trust him.

For the third time in the past couple of months, we handed Chelsea a victory entirely due to Pep’s fuck ups.
