In the centre of the defence was Eric Garcia, who was trusted with bringing the ball out of defence. However, the intelligent running PeP would have expected to see ahead of him was missing, with City looking strangely flat and uninspired in such a massive game.
The above game was against Lyon where we got battered 3-1 and every game he has played in since he has been utter wank.![]()

Peps stupidity personified in allowing Garcia to be anywhere near the 1st team squad during the past 12 months. He had no interest no desire, and for me shows Pep has faults, Ferna major reason we do a double no clue on his future Garcia taking the piss as he jogged about, being begged to reconsider and stay, Confusing. Garcia may well be all Pep has said, however one or both obviously think they bigger or better than City.
Apart from playing Garcia in THAT game against Lyon (which was fuckign madness ) I will never ever understand why we played a player, this season, who was leaving for FREE...and leaving on a free to Barcelona.....it makes absolute zero sense to have played him before other City players.
It only makes sense if 1. hes an excellent player and should play by merit or 2. Hes doing his mates at Barcelona a huge favor by giving 'their player' as much experience as he can before he fucks off.
The only sensible answer to the above is B.!!
Disgraceful.
Option B also meant that he would not command a transfer fee so helping out the already cash- strapped Catalans. A decision that i hope has not gone unnoticed by our club who pay him a decent wedge to look after our interests and not a former employer
