In the centre of the defence was Eric Garcia, who was trusted with bringing the ball out of defence. However, the intelligent running PeP would have expected to see ahead of him was missing, with City looking strangely flat and uninspired in such a massive game.

The above game was against Lyon where we got battered 3-1 and every game he has played in since he has been utter wank.

Peps stupidity personified in allowing Garcia to be anywhere near the 1st team squad during the past 12 months. He had no interest no desire, and for me shows Pep has faults, Ferna major reason we do a double no clue on his future Garcia taking the piss as he jogged about, being begged to reconsider and stay, Confusing. Garcia may well be all Pep has said, however one or both obviously think they bigger or better than City.

Apart from playing Garcia in THAT game against Lyon (which was fuckign madness ) I will never ever understand why we played a player, this season, who was leaving for FREE...and leaving on a free to Barcelona.....it makes absolute zero sense to have played him before other City players.

It only makes sense if 1. hes an excellent player and should play by merit or 2. Hes doing his mates at Barcelona a huge favor by giving 'their player' as much experience as he can before he fucks off.

The only sensible answer to the above is B.!!

Disgraceful.

Option B also meant that he would not command a transfer fee so helping out the already cash- strapped Catalans. A decision that i hope has not gone unnoticed by our club who pay him a decent wedge to look after our interests and not a former employer

Stop, Garcia is world class. I was abso devastated when he didn't sign, found it very hard to struggle on with life.

And now those talking pure shit are telling us Gundogan, Silva, Sterling and Mahrez, among a few others, are all set to join him at Barcelona.

Out of the two, and even though he’s had the better season, I’d say Gundo if one of them has to. Just purely based on age. Plus I think Grealish has the engine to not be totally shit at DM when Pep decides to fuckin brain fart against United or in a final next season.

Wouldn't it be easier to play a DM instead of the brainfarts?

Ok with Gundo leaving, but how much?
Are we gonna fuck up again and loan him out and they will pay us in 75 payments and a truck of Fruit Loops?

After the season he had, I wouldn't accept less than 50 mil for him.

We will need a shed load of new goal getters we have lost a goal machine if Gundo goes we must be breaking the transfer record he has been amazing for 2 seasons. Maybe Peoxx as building a new Barca haha

FFS. Cop on.
All the snide comments aimed at Pep are a disgrace.
Most successful manager in our history. Broke records Taggart could not get near in doing so.

Re Garcia. Do you want an Authoritarian regime? A bully like Ferguson running the squad? Garcia wanted to leave. Is everyone suggesting that Pep should have been a cnut and targeted him? What sort of message does that send to the rest of the squad?

Our squad keeps evolving, so does our style of play.
Pretend we get Rice, Grealish, Kane and Mendes then players have to go. We evolve, play a different style created by a manager with vision who is a couple of steps ahead of everyone else.

Yes, Pep fcuked up in the CL final. But not in the PL. 3 wins out of the last 4.

Appreciate what we have. You don't know what you miss until it has gone.

I dont understand all this talk of valuable first team players moving on, gundo, bernie and to an extent are super important to us and played a vital role in winning the league. We need to be shifting deadwood not first team regulars.

Of all them laporte is the most dispensible but we sell him we are left with dias stones and ake surely we wont repeat our mistake from two years ago and the dippers mistake from last season??

All sea mental. Sign kane to replace aguero, maybe a left back to replace mendy and bring in grealish to our midfield and we are done. No more outgoings. That squad is perfect!
derby day the scores were level,
then the goat was fed by neville,
silly boy should know for sure,
feed the goat and he will score!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's tricky because we need fresh faces that are hungry.
Gundo won everything, he is 31 this year, does he have the hunger to do it all over again?

I am more inclined to say no.

No

Garcia has been shit, doesn't deserve to be near the first team based on form. There was no reason to play him, which raises alot of questions. Some of the stuff Pep does brings it on himself, quite frankly I've not recovered from his final brainfart.

Garcia certainly didn't look any better than Harwood-Bellis so for me if one of them was required to play then it's the guy who's going to be here next year you play. If Garcia was miles ahead then he'd have been the one who should have been played but he wasn't. Same with Mendy, the guy has had chance after chance and isn't good enough any longer so play someone who will improve or you'll be able to see if they can do a job. We know what Mendy can't do.

Hypothetical speaking, would anyone swap Sterling for Grealish? As rumored.

In a nanno second..Grealish has more or less the same stats as Foden.....plus he focuses on Football 24/7....unlike the little gimp we have.

Funny I wanted Grealish a long time ago. Sterling has gone stail, best for all, but he has been some player, so good luck if he goes this summer, no way Villa though Barca Madrid or PSG 300k a week he is not getting in Birmingham!

Agree no way is he a make-weight in a deal for Grealish. Two for one abroad with Sterling and Mendy - get him off the wage bill

True mate. Maybe I am still raw from the Porto panto. The chairman is a cool dude, however we are imo at that point where words are ok, actions like Kane Rice and Grealish could be my potion to moving on. Ferna should be sorted BTW what is going on. Pep like Mayweather has had a mare in his decision. If you are only as good as your last game or farce, both need afead wobble.

Get in Kane, Rice and Grealish.
Let Sterling, Silva and Marez go if it helps to get them in.

Think we would have a much harder edge with those three. We would be more clinical and much harder to beat. Opposition players would be looking over their shoulders for a change. We would still play beautiful football.

Interesting all three could have played for Ireland who are totally crap at the moment. Good decisions by them.
