Anyone that thinks otherwise is deluded .
The owner and CEO is relying on his Man city “Barca hierarchy” to be ethical ,,,,,,,,,,, good luck with that then!

Can you back that up?
To me that sounds outrageous.
I have not been following the transfer rumors closely.
But so far, like every year, what I have seen is just a lot of paper talk. To put it another way, a pile of sh1te.
Am I deluded or is there a history where Pep and the Spafia have actually done business to favor Barca to Man City's detriment?

PeP has said many many times that Barcelonaa is the best club in the world and he loves them and its his club -those EXACT words that has come out of his mouth ,so to say he would do anything to help them is not outrageous at all..its pretty fuckign obvious IMO and the way he has handled the FREE transfer of Garcia to Barcelona just adds more weight to that especially seeing as we could have sold him last summer for a fee but as Barcelona are skint then Baldie decided to keep Garcia for the last year of his contract , hardly play him (until the Lyon match which we lost ) he also rates him as one of the best players he has ever had..in fact..he wished he had 10 Garcia's at City...Those EXACT words that come out of his mouth but he still allowed him to leave for FREE to the love of his life..Barcelona.
We are now informed we are playing in a stupid competition in fuckign August ...after our season has started !!!...A Barcelona competition when our own season starts...that's doing Barcelona a favor.
Outrageous ? yep...its fuckign outrageous !
P.S As for transfers with possible exits for Bernardo and Laporte...lets revisit this thread when we know if the paper reports are true or not.

Haha are you ignoring the paper report Bernado allegedly asked to go last summer? Laporte has been surprisingly sketchy.

If that's correct then I don't see Cancelo being allowed to leave, unless he is thinking of the unthinkable and keeping Mendy as second choice

The fact is we could have got £10 to £15m had we let him go the season before, what was the point keeping him if he's shit and and hardly played. We knew he wasn't going to extend and he isn't exactly a pivotal player, To me that doesn't make sense, we lost out on both accounts; contribution to the team and financially.

Who knows what Stones will do next season, 'injury' wise that is. Silva has been not only an important player in his own right but a brilliant replacement for KDB when he has his month to 5 weeks per season off injured.
Two difficult players to replace, especially when we have other areas to work on.

I would agree with this if it weren't for him being a whinging bitch. He has literally no reason to complain. He came to City, was first choice straight away and massively important for our squad. He's now been "benched" for half a season, mainly due to injuries and a purple patch (?) partnership. I can understand world class players wanting to move on if their sidelined for more than a season, but this just screams of no fighting spirit.

Agree.
Imho, he was decent at best, never world-class. If we look into it, he played an important part in our exit in UCL three years in a row. With scouse, playing as a left-back (but this is Baldie's fault), with Spuds when he had two huge fuckups and with Lyon again.
Imho, when he came he fucked a bit our defence, before that Stones and Otter really worked, then Long Dick John got injured.
Overall he did his job, but I would not lose one night of sleep if he goes.
