i dont get why people arent talking about it - goal of the tournament.

There’s plenty talking, just maybe not on here as it’s closed season and some are only interested in the Blues.

Cracking goal, there’s been a few so far.

Was a great strike - thought the keeper was late moving for it but take nothing away from the lad great goal. Surprised Italy beat them but cannot say that Italy were not the better team. Doubt Spain will stand in their way

What the actual fuck is wrong with Kev? I’ve never disliked a City player so much.

“It was a miracle I played tonight because there was definitely damage to my ankle. A tear in my ligaments. But I felt responsibility to play for my country”

Absolute dick head.

Well he got through the game and didn't seem too affected. He wants to play for his country is the bottom line and we have to take it on the chin if it affects us - which it is going to. I dont like it, but we are not going to tell him to turn his country down. Agree to your point of him playing with a potential injury though as that helps no one and he is a dick for putting himself at risk

He negotiated a new contract based on stats. Did he add in to those stats the amount of times he’d play for his country whilst injured? City really need to have a word. It’s great having one of the worlds best players playing for us - but what’s the point if he’s reducing his career length by playing through injuries for a country that will get knocked out before the finals anyway.

Martinez should not be playing injured players, management have a duty of care for player welfare, it doesn’t matter if Kev wants to play or not, Martinez picks the team not the players, dereliction of duty by the manager, not for the first time with this prick either.

This. Players are always going to want to play, the manager should be managing it.
City should be speaking to Martinez.

Absolute piss-take and simply confirms what we all know, that the England team is there to promote the sponsors and the media’s needs, all to make a few quid for themselves.

Southgate loves making odd decisions. Wonder what foden has done to piss him off?
