Anti, it's you we have to turn to now to keep are spirits up and explain how Mancini has it all under control. Explain his tactics/plans to us so we understand. You can't get all negative.

I didn't think our tactics were anywhere near spot on today. If SWP was fit today, then it's ridiculous that he didn't start. And what was that joke striker doing there?

But fact remains we are fourth now, whether it's because or despite Mancini is up for debate. But the actual position isn't. And yes, I'm happy about it. Sorry.

Do you remember you were really really delighted - ecstatic - after we bungled past the rags in the first leg of the semi-final... remember how you "couldn't understand" how people could possibly question it?
This is the same - i dare you to put some serious money on us doing top 4 - fucking dare you.
All we are saying is give Doug a pass.

We'd challenge for the league if we were half decent this year.

this league, outside of scum and chelski, is very mediocre. evidenced by a pretty poor side being 4th.

i'll take it at the end of the season. and tonight as it happens! thanks mr wiley.

sunday is a monster game, tevez is now critically important to be available.

would they have taken it knowing they would be playing against a ten man stoke for most of the game? NO!

What bemuses/upsets me - the bit that devalues people's opinions so totally - is how different the reaction to absolutely everything about that game would've been if 'Clueless' was in charge.

It's not a bad result for a team that's struggling which we certainly are at the moment. If not for the stupid, pathetic, fucking goal it would have been 3 points as well.

If the rags were playing like shite & got a result at Stoke, everyone would have said that's how they win championships. I don't believe we'll be this bad forever so if we get results now, it will set us up.

That's the kind of scrapping, shit kicking performance that could get us a result at Chelsea.

How many times have you seen 10 men dominate after losing a player? I remember a time when we used to go down to ten and our football considerably improved...it happens...a draw to a team like Stoke...away from home...a team that stifles good football...is a result in my eyes

For the first 20 minutes of that game they dominated us like it was Chelsea v a non league side. We barely got a look in 1st half, and am I right in thinking our first shot on target was the goal? Thats just not good enough

you were saying EXACTLY the same under Sven before christmas. Get real, we are nowhere near that yet. Even Jesus Christ couldn't get us there this season.
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

I could spend the rest of my life commenting on that so I'm going to try my best not to in the future, it really is verging on the ridiculous.
