Spurs haven’t played for a while so a great time to play them for Liverpool.

No VVD for the dippers though. And their record when he doesn't play as to when he does is night and day.

And Kane is due a goal is he not.

Ok, I'm clutching at straws, but I live in hope

Is VVD injured? Hopefully he has niggles the rest of his career now thanks to Sir Pickford of Scouseland.

He missed their game v barcodes on Thursday due to covid so I cant see how he can play today

Not wishing it on anyone but if they have an outbreak in their camp, that request would indicate key players will be out, Chelsea cannot afford to drop more point's, if they do then it would become a two legged race

VVD, Fabinho, Henderson, Salah, Trent, Robertson, Thiago and Jones all out apparently from a message I got from scouse supporting mate. Wait and see how many of them actually line up as they wouldn’t be ones for getting their excuses in early would they. Still wouldn’t hold out much hope for spurs who haven’t played for couple weeks and probably not had much time on training pitch with their own Covid outbreak.

Bizarrely I am quietly confident for Spurs today. They look tighter under Conte and son and Kane are due a goal or two

I understand tradition, but this is stupid what they are doing. The Germans have a 3 week break and that will be a great idea to do about now, with all of this madness. Always loved Boxing Day Fixtures, but a break will save the league at this point instead of postponing random games from random weeks.

But in all likelihood it wouldn’t. The virus isn’t going away in January and we would just have the same scenario then but with a couple of weeks less to fit all the fixtures in

Is it just me who is thinking that certain clubs are getting special treatment when it comes to getting games postponed?

They’ve struggled with Wolves, just like we did. Only 3 shots for them, zero on target so far.

Chavs drop another two points. Six point gap now which is significant.

Touchel reminds me of Horner at Red Bull, a whinging twat who tries to influence outcomes. However, Chelsea aren’t one of the favoured ‘istree clubs so don’t get the calls. He needs to get on with it and not rely on the PL to look after them.

Chelsea have surprised me to be honest with the drop in form over the last month or so. I had them down at the beginning of the season as slight favourites to win it. Still a long way to go but the way they are playing they could easily fall further behind and you can see them going on a run of seven or eight straight wins like us and dippers can and indeed are currently on

Salad, Trent and Robertson are playing, they were supposed to be out, VVD and Henderson are out

Probably just gamesmanship to give Conte and Spurs hope.

Then to see their names on the teamsheet. Wonder what the Italian is for fucks sake

You only have to look at Klopp saying the show must go on as he wants to ensure the games are played while he still has his players. I’m sure there’ll be a different stance when the AFCON come around.

Only Pep has been consistent on this, the rest seem to be all about the competition.
