That's twice now when we've had no one to exploit them.

As everyone is saying, this game proves that we need a clinical center forward.
It is in the tight matches that we are really strugging, not for chane creation but for converting those chances.

Our centre forwards tend to stretch defences the way Pep uses them though, so it's very possible the forward would be the one crossing.

I miss the days of Sterling and Sane tapping then in at the back post.

Agree. But I wouldn't sell him, even if I think we can get really good money for him.
I am sentimental.

This is why Liverpool are stalling on the Salah contract.
We have Kev until Summer 2025 at £400K a week. If he does not get back to his best we are stuck with that.
Salah is only one year younger than Kev, plays a different type of game and cannot keep his level up for much longer.
This is why I hope Liverpool are forced into giving him a long term contract at top $.

Me too mate, I loved Sane, I was seriously pissed off when he went.

IMO all the hype about how good Tuchel is as a manger is being exposed for what it was - pure crap.
He is a good cup manager, hitting teams on the break in knock out competitions.
He is not in Pep's league.
