Win, win, lose - Newcastle, Woods, Burnley.
Woods is a good fit for where Newcastle are this season - avoid relegation.. Honest, grafter, focal point, good header, physicality, Trip to supply him, etc...
He will be marginalized next season when better players are brought in. He will not care as he will have filled his pockets at 31.
Good luck to him.

Don't disagree with this. I quite like Woods limited though he may be if given the service, he will thrive. Question will be can they play to his strengths and get players up and around him. Relegation will cost them a year but they will storm back as they will be able to keep what they have and also improve on it

City’s name has been included in the clubs trying to sign Rüdiger
Literally just throwing our name in there to get himself more money!

Apparently, we're in a race to sign Haaland with Real Madrid.
I hope we don't get strung along next summer, with him deciding to go to Madrid and leaving us at square one, with no alternative.
Makes you wonder how we went from having four top strikers to half a one.

Haaland saying Dormund putting him under a lot of pressure to let them know what he is doing and therefore he has to sort things out quickly.
That would be good to kill all the crap talk about where he is going.

The biggest signature in recent years up for grabs. Imagine the meltdown if we did sign him. Im laughing thinking about it.

Erling Haaland puts Manchester United, City, Barcelona and Real Madrid on high alert after admitting Borussia Dortmund are 'pressuring' him to make a decision over his future very soonHis agent has already said he’s not going to United because they’re crap
Daily Mail desperate to keep them relevant.

If that's the reason he's not going to United, you can rule out Barcelona and Real Madrid as well.

I think we should follow Dortmund and ask Haaland to decide if he wants to join or not. He clearly was not our main target if we tried to bring Kane in so let's not get into a bidding war we will not win and focus on other options.
I am a bit tired of this saga, to be honest, and it did not really start properly.

We should make an offer to Dortmund . Tell Haaland what we are prepared to pay in Salaries per week and , what image rights shares he should get and tell
Haaland and Dortmund they pay his father and agent what they want to. 50 Mill to Dortmund and 250k a week to Haarland . Not bad for someone who has never played in the PL . Remember Sancho played alongside Haaland these last two seasons - been rubbish so far in a rag shirt.

True enough, but in fairness wearing a rag shirt seems to turn decent players into shite players nowadays.

Haaland is only marginally ahead of Dzeko goals wise in bundesliga

Seen a stat last week he has more goals than games for them.
But to be fair Big Ed was incredible, he is the reason Wolfsburg won the league in front of Bayern and Dortmund.

Yeah I knew Ed had a great record over there (1 in 2 roughly?) but I thought Haaland had scored more goals than games (or as close to as possible).

Newcastle are about to make a "sensational" swoop for Ballotelli apparently.
Could be very interesting.

Don't know if this has been picked up on, but after 6 months of being a free agent after being released by Derby, Jordon Ibe has signed for Adanaspor in Turkey. Massive swoop for them, considering he's going to be better than Sterling.

I'd love to see him back in the PL
Right team too, he'd be the new Gazza.
