This is going to become a major problem for him and Liverpool. Liverpool's high line relies on VVD's pace to cover the space in behind. Without that pace they are going to have to play deeper or risk being caught out.
They have started to give up more chances and goals lately. I think it is down to loss of pace by VVD.
Anyone got any thoughts on this?
Although they have only conceded 19, that may disguise the actuality, they have conceded 3 at Brentford 2 at home to Brighton, in the last game Palace continually got behind them and should have scored more, would have done if pigmol hadn’t come to their rescue, so I agree VVD has lost something and it will cost them in the bigger games
