You can do all the above apart from register the player officially until the window opens.

Mentioned above, the rumours is that the release clause is available until late April.

I knew Dortmund would try and announce it before we did. They hate us.

IF... then we are going to have change our style of play.

I didn't want the guy, but it is going to make things interesting. IF...etc etc

During the Soton game, the local commentator (which was on a station they rarely have us on) talked about Haaland and how he will fit our system. Made some sense in it because people have the impression he is just a tall guy, but his heading goals ratio is poor versus his foot control and accuracy. He loves to assist as much as score, that is why Pep is obsessed in getting him

Sure, he also said we paid 130 mil quid for Grealish, but still.

TBH i haven't looked into his play for Dortmund, but it is obvious he would be the main guy we want to be in front of goal and taking the chances. So i guess he will be loitering centrally more than we normally have players do. So the fluidity across the front we normally use will likely alter to something else.

as i say guessing so, wtf do i know and Pep might have masterplans to turn him into a DM

We don’t want Haaland to fit in our current system. That’s the whole point in getting him - because he offers us something different. Pep said as much when he mentioned opposing teams getting to know our tactics and the way we play, we have to evolve.

I'm guessing he'll play him at left back

If I see Haaland play as a false nine, the next thing I am expecting is alien life.

I don't care which position he plays if he can score goals even if it is half his 80 in 82 tally for BVB ;)

The signing of a goal scorer, badly needed in my view, will not affect our fluidity.
Are we really as fluid as we think? Mahrez rarely if ever appears on the left.
Generally our wide players stay wide and stay on their sides.
