They are one card away from suspension, HOWEVER this from UEFA web site "In addition, all yellow cards expire on completion of the quarter-finals. They are not carried forward to the semi-finals".

Jesus hasn't travelled as he picked up a yellow last week leaving him suspended for this match.

Atletico have EIGHT players one card away from suspension............

Reinildo, Hector Herrera, Geoffrey Kondogbia, Marcos Llorente, Rodrigo De Paul, Correa, Joao Felix and Luis Suarez

Just shows what a horrible team they are!

Fucking hate their style of play and, for once, quite worried how this game will pan out with their dubious way of playing football. Hoping for at least a draw and no serious injuries or red cards.

Would UEFA want the bore-fest that is Atletico in the next round, surely they won’t be giving them any dodgy decisions?

Worth bearing in mind that Kevin and Joao are on a yellow. One more and they miss a potential first leg against Real Madrid. Grealish was targeted for a possible red in the home leg. He wasn’t far from reacting. Very important to play with discipline.

I think there is a card amnesty after the QFs. I think...

Helpful and reassuring. MEN got it wrong. Still important to remember that one Atletico tactic will be to get a City player to react and get sent off. Grealish nearly lost it in the home leg. Of course he was continually fouled had his hair ruffled etc but he has to walk away.

Still confused, if KDB or Cancelo are booked, will they miss semi ?

To be fair to Grealish he did well to laugh off most of it. It was only when he got the ball booted in his face while lying on the ground that he reacted.

The guy has literally been punched in the face on a football field and reacted by scoring the winning goal. We don’t need to worry about Jack.

I see CAS have accepted Atletico’s appeal and the full ground will be available tonight.

Probably on the grounds that the tickets were sold already. Typical UEFA fiasco, everyone expecting punishment in months and then they go and ban already-sold tickets the next day (presumably without much in the way of examination)!
