Same team would beat them in Madrid, probably by only one goal again, but they would win.
We are a lot better than RM and should have sealed the whole tie tonight.
Stupid decisions in our own half in CL is likely to be punished.
They actually created fuck all themselves.

Full strength we will control it better and win without so much drama.

Maybe Ederson might be able to make a few saves in Madrid.
Just Maybe we will convert a few of our 100000000000000000000 chances. There's plenty of hope yet.

Great game and glad we won, but. Quite a lot of negatives in this one. Very naive and wasteful again. And I’m worried about our keeper. When is the last time he’s made a meaningful save?

No penalty btw - ball came off Laporte's head onto his arm but with krauts on the VAR it is given

Ederson. Worth a thread of its own. Fuck me. Bloke is a basket case. Saves nothing, plays with the ball like he's the big man. He's not.

Broken record time again.
Our biggest weakness exposed again, lack of a clinical finisher.
Another concern is our lack of strength in depth. We should not be relying on Fern (almost 37) and a bunch of talented but inexperienced kids in a CL SF.

Next leg will be really tough.
Playing UEFA's love child, away from home, with VAR, in a huge match, holding a slender lead, after Leeds on Saturday, makes me extremely nervous.
We will have Cancelo available and hopefully Walker but anymore injuries and we are in trouble IMO.

The big plus is RM have to score so if we have Walker and Cancelo playing we will exploit the space but can we stick away the chances when they come?
I am assuming here that Pep won't be inspired before the game and that he will actually play our best team.

btw no Sterling tonight and how bad was our finishing? and just how fucking greedy is Mahrez?

Dias is a natural right footer. In Pep’s system of playing out from the back he’s actually more comfortable where he played tonight. He can play on the left but to suggest he cant play with Laporte is complete bollocks.

Bernardo given MoM. I’d have given it to Tintin who was superb. There again Jesus was very good too. Zinchenko seems to be on fire since he got over his hiccup over his understandable horror at what’s going on in his country.

I can only concur with the pair of you. Virtually all their chances came from his mistakes.

Reflecting back to Wembley I'm now of the opinion that he was the reason Zinchenko kept on giving the ball away.

Ederson played to Stones who repeatedly gave it to Zinchenko, scouse cunts knew it and closed him down.

Dias is without doubt right-footed. However, he’s more comfortable playing on the left side of a two than most right-footers. Playing on the left is NOT his natural position, though he is excellent playing there, hence his great partnership with Stones. Partnering Laporte, though, shouldn’t affect Dias’s performance detrimentally: in theory it should improve them.

We will be fine in Madrid. The only danger is they never give up, we were stupid in not controlling the game better when we were ahead. We can control games better than that and we were dumb tonight. They would have had one goal at best.
Obviously also we should have been out of sight with goals scored, like x3 out of sight.

But that was nieve tonight gifting them opportunities when we really didnt need to.

Feels like a loss .
Nothing in This now - the misses today were horrendous but not nearly as bad as shit defending .

Laporte should not have his fucking arm that high - it’s the golden fucking rule .
I’m sure it’s not my imagination when it comes to him fucking up in nearly every key game we have ever had .

Did Sterling come on ? You would not have thought so !
* waste of space did fuxkall in the time he was on *
THEY SAY SWEARING IS DUE TO A LIMITED VOCABULARY. I KNOW THOUSANDS OF WORDS, BUT I STILL PREFER "FUCK OFF" TO "GO AWAY"

It should have been 9-3.

Crap on as much as you like abour right backs , defenders etc , If that greedy git Mahrez had passed instead of shooting from a difficult angle . we would have been three nil up.

We will tonk them on their home turf. make no mistake. we made them look better than they really are.

Well it isn't , so go and have a Gin and Tonic and relax. We will turn them over in Madrid , easy.

No penalty - in case people didn't notice we've been cheated out of a 2 goal lead, it's like a BT commentary on here
