The ref was abysmal but even if there were another few mins played we wouldn’t have scored.

Over the 2 legs, we blew it.

First leg should have had a 2 or 3-goal lead minimum. But we wasted so many great chances.

Tonight we were brilliant for 89 mins then fell asleep. Pep didn’t have his annual CL screw-up tactics-wise, but the players let themselves down tonight.

Interesting that I am over it already. It started early and continued throughout the game. With the witch-hunt that went to CAS, and the old G14 wanted there cozy way, I don’t think this will ever happen.

Just the added time tells you what’s what. My worry now is that it’s affected our PL chances.

Say what you want about refs, excuses etc etc. We conceded 6 goals and that is why we lost.

Don’t think so, mate. They were asleep before Ederson’s rubber hands came into play.
I think they sniffed blood and took advantage

We will do well to recover from this in the PL now. Momentum in football at the business end of the season is immense. Had we held out and gone through tonight it would have been the springboard to go on and win the PL.

Now, it’s a big ask

Rightly so seeing as they beat us? Grealish puts one of those away and its done but how many more times do we have to witness thst? Not a shot on target in 90 mins and they get 2 in a minute. Not good enough simple as that and we are left with the league to fight for. Beyond shocked as i did not see that coming tonight

Sickening though it is worth mentioning a brave stand out performance from Walker, ditto Bernardo and actually Gundogan when he came on.

Bad defending and poor finishing cost us over both legs. We squandered numerous clear cut chances and gave away poor goals.
The ref was bent but ultimately we beat ourselves.
That is what is so disappointing.
RM had good chances to score another four tonight.
Dippers will slaughter them because they are clinical finishers.

We need a clear out, a left back, a clinical finisher and a real Keane like bollix to add some steel.

Players or fans?

What I will say is that we can’t complain that we don’t care about the CL, tonight has shown the opposite.

Booing their anthem only makes them more secure in their decision to get rid of the best team that Europe has seen, confirming that subscriptions and entertainment come first.

UEFA don’t want us in their premiere game, especially when you can have 2 of the European royalty.

Didn’t care about the CL at the start of the night.

It’s the manner of the defeat. Like dippers yesterday. I’d be utterly amazed if we scrape the league. These teams will be smelling blood and we’re fucking soft as fuck. I’m so angry.

To add insult to injury tonight may cost us the PL.
Aside from injuries and fatigue, mentally we may be in a bad place.

Fucking gutted.

They should have been down to 10 men on 33 min. And the ref blows before the minimum time given.

Sure, we should have seen it out, but by God uefa wanted dippers and real for the masses

Someone will rock in soon and blame pep
