If one of the reasons Haaland chose City was due to his connections with the club as a child, an indirect benefit will be kids supporting us because of him and all the old Utd pull be eroded, like the 'Utd way' crap as they move onto another manager and buy a new squad.

Haaland signing has to put even more pressure on Liverpool with Salah and Mane. They will not be happy reading about how they are world beaters but not being paid accordingly.
I think both of them are about to learn a hard lesson. Salary reflects what your employer thinks you can deliver. Never what has been delivered, that is just water under the bridge. At 31ish their delivery trajectory is a downward curve.

Ilkay Gundogan confirmed leaving Man City this summer . One year left on his contract City have agreed to let him leave , been a fantastic servant for the club and had a bad back most of this season. Fabulous squad player good luck to him .
